Hi all
Tricky anxious few days at the paid stuff and a couple of difficult meetings tomorrow. DH has been keeping on top of the flying with small contributions from me.
Plodding on.
Lovely to see the young-uns Pigpen.

Thomas has crossed over Rainbow Bridge to chase squirrels and birds. LOTS of tears in here tonight.

Oh @pigpen - So sorry for your loss. It is painful when you lose an animal friend even when you know it for the best. Sending prayers and hugs.7

Lovely pic Piggers and I'm so, so sorry about Thomas. Saying goodbye and letting them go never gets any easier, and it's particularly hard on children who grew up with him alwaya around. (((Hugs)))Thank you Weency. I tried that but it's a fan oven and the fan kept blowing it off! I've tried on the tops and they are at least a size too big but I think I can adjust the sleeve length so that they look about right in the winter with three-quarter length sleeves. They're going to be perfect for cold days because despite the fact that they came from a supermarket they're lovely quality.Sinks shone.Better is good enough.7

Sorry to hear about Thomas, pigpen xxx
Thanks for posting the lovely picture of the girls. I've had another of DGS4 standing in the front doorway to add to my annual collection (his is always "stand by a door" whereas you seem to favour "stand by a flowerbed") but this year for the first time he is on his own, as DGS3 has just started at secondary school.
Hope the vibes at your workplace are better tomorrow, YL x
You've passed the halfway mark in your working week, roundx
Apart from wiping down the kitchen worktops, cooking and washing up as needed, and hoovering the LR, DR, hall and kitchen floors, I haven't achieved much in the house today. We were supposed to be going out to a heritage railway, via an open air shopping centre in a country park (of all places), but only made it to the shops because DH got up even later than usual. For its bijou size, the shopping centre has a very good number of clothes shops, so we have each brought home one new item. One for me is a lot, only one for DH is practically unheard of... and guess who paid more?
Back to photo sorting tomorrow xxx5 -
Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew. Not looked at Wordle or Connections yet. Back to shoes on for work as my feet got very wet in sandals yesterday. Luckily it was on my homeward bound commute so I was straight in and socks on. Ahhh. The bliss of socks put on cold feet. (Little things mean a lot).
Lovely photo piggers. Did Pixie enjoy her first day? I do hope so. So sorry to hear about Thomas crossing the rainbow bridge. Xxx
Over the hump and heading for the weekend. Things at work have changed (again) and Thursday and Friday should be easier than all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning was/ were? I have asked the supervisor if they're trying for constructive dismissal? Every person they have moved into the office I have found a way to gel with (after a few moans initially as you know 😉) so now they have moved in the most annoying, most needy, most desperate to be my friend, co-worker ( who historically was responsible for me going off sick with stress for six weeks a couple of years ago). Can you see why I asked about constructive dismissal!!! So I have shrunk into myself to survive, co-worker is miserable and complaining that I'm not chatting. I'm working. Very working. I do not want to engage with someone when I have to censor every word that comes out of my mouth so that she doesn't run to management to complain about me. Polite yes. Professional yes. Will help with questions re work yes. Thassit. End of. Shudder. Wondering which one of us will go off with stress first 🤷♀️
But I escaped into the foyer for a breather yesterday and who should walk through but J. 😍. Be still my beating heart. And he smiled and said hello. I went all gooey and unnecessary 😊. Why don't they move him into my office???? 🤣🤣
And on that positive note and a big smile on my face at the memory I will bid you Adieu.
Have a good day.

Good morning 😊
Round you have made me laugh! It is obvious why J is not in your office as you would clearly get nothing done! 😂
Pigpen sorry to hear about Thomas. It is always hard, but you gave him the best end to his life at yours
Paid stuff today. WM has finished, but it is raining, so I will have to use the TD 😕 I may take the children to soft play this morning as a treat. I don't like going on my own as it makes toilet runs awkward & I have to keep my bag with me. But the kids will like it 👍
DH emptied the DW & stacked it. So it has been restacked 🙄😂 Workmen should finish the road today - just the speed bumps to put in now. They have packed up every day at 1:30! Hopefully I will be able to park outside when we get home later 🤞
Have a good day everyone7
