debitcardmayhem said:I wonder if they have paid the app stores yet?Not sure what you are referring to there as in general the app owners do not pay to place a free app in the stores beyond their standard developer fee ($99/year Apple, $25 one-off Google). In this case, the MyWatts app is provided by Tomato's parent, Senapt.

MyWatts is up and running ahead of Tuesday schedule.
Sadly no new visual updates, it did ask me to update the password so probably the work was related to internal security.

@Newbie_John I am leaving TE for the same reason I joined them, cheaper electric. I moved from Octopus not because I was unhappy just TE was cheaper. Outfox will be cheaper over the next 12 month unless TE change prices ( Outfox Jun25 v1 is cheaper the TE Oct24 v1).
Did I made the right choice to join TE, without a doubt in the 10 months I've been with them £100 saved in unit rate, £100 from extra discount on bill & £100 compo.
Total saved £300.
Also add to that extra that Octopus had to pay late billing, not refunding when should have, I expect the will work out to another £200.
If staying with Octopus I would have paid £800 over the 10 months now works out I've paid £300 over that period
I hope Outfox keeps up that trend

From their email:
Hello John,
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and are pleased to share some exciting developments with you.
Introducing the New myWatts Mobile App
Our brand-new myWatts app is now available to download from both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
With the app, it’s now even easier to access your energy data, account details and personalised settings directly from your mobile.
Whether you’re out and about or at home, managing your energy just got simpler.
Head to your app store, download the app, and log in to explore its features.
Platform Upgrade Complete
We’ve also recently completed a major upgrade to our platform, designed to improve performance, reliability and security. Rest assured, your billing and energy usage data remain secure and unaffected.
As part of this update, you’ll be prompted to reset your password when next logging in:- Tap “Forgot Password” on the app or website login screen, or directly here
- Once logged in, please take a moment to review your personalised settings (such as property labels or scheduled tasks), as a few may need to be re-entered.

You would think they would prioritise their inability to read most SMETS 1 meters before giving their app a slight tweak1
-
Yeah that's an interesting point, it's been 9 months since they were aware of it and the IT team of myWatts looks really solid - a lot of software engineers. So I wonder if there is some "top level" decision to not bother and just continue business with SMETS2 only? Also I remember post of their CEO explaining complexity of SMETS1 and large number of types so maybe it's taking a long long time.. there was someone few pages back that said they can finally see data in myWatts, so maybe they're slowly going in groups?
Anyone here with SMET1 that isn't working still?
