I had the same delayed action thoughts as Doc_N and pfpf ..

Octopus Compare continues to put my 14-M March Loyalty Fix £5 ahead of (lower than) Agile on the ("year" = ) 7 month scan. I would like to draw Tomato into the comparison also but it seems that this is not possible. Has anyone found a way of making Tomato "comparable"?
Possibly Hugo can do it. This is the paid version, not the free version which has been discontinued.

I can't get Octopus Compare to "recognise" TE.
Hugo is a new one on me.

You would just need to get the rate information and add it as a custom tariff yourself.

Looks like Tomato are no longer (temporarily?) providing new quotes and I can't see their rates on their website.

Can one create one's own tariff and add this as a custom tariff to Octopus Compare ????

I don't think there is much regional variation as this is pretty close to what I was paying in E Mids.

Oh and they were to satisfy ofgem by 4pm today about the provisional order.
I wonder how long it will be before there is an update.
How long till any update and how long till they open signups/revoke license are two different questions ;-)

    https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/publications/tomato-energy-limited-provisional-order

It has a lot of stages:
    • Open - Provisional Order issued
    • Provisional Order confirmed
    • Decision Proposed - Confirm Provisional Order
    • Decision Proposed - Revoke Provisional Order
    • Notice to rectify
    • Notice to revoke licence
    • Closed
    Still on stage #1..

But in 2022 there was a similar case:
    https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/publications/logicor-energy-limited-final-order

and it was closed within a month (because they paid the invoice - sounds similar right? :D ):

Logicor Energy Ltd made full payment of its RO for 2021-22, including all applicable interest, thus ensuring compliance with its RO for 2021-2022.

Therefore, on 26 October 2022, the Authority made a decision not to make a FO.

That was an easy one, as it was a specific debt that was being chased. This time, they are being held to the requirements of a large energy supplier, and must maintain sufficient liquidity to pay their debts as they become due.

Sending my bill for April would help.

I have posted about my Dad's goings on with Tomato a few pages back.

Last week email states he will pay £65.94 by DD by 14/05 but he left them on 17/04 and the £65.94 is the exact amount of his March bill.

He has not had his April or final bill yet.

£65.94 left his bank on Monday and yesterday his pending payments showed another £65.94 coming out today.

I called Tomato on his behalf and was told that money will go towards the final bill and today's DD may not happen. I said if it does my dad will call the bank and get it reversed and I was then told that breach the T@C's and count as a non payment and they may put a default on his credit file.

Today another £65.94 has come out.

Has this happened to anyone else or is my dad unlucky?

Not had any problems like that myself, just late bills. As it happens, my April bill arrived this morning,
