And "We Buy Any Car" don't. Their name is misleading. They do not buy "Historic" vehicles. I might have missed it, but I could find no references to a car's age on their website. No, this isn't an invitation to trawl through their Ts & Cs to prove me wrong!
I don't intend selling to anyone, but was only curious by entering the registration. Yes, I did enter a legitimate and correct reg. as on the V5C. The make (part of the BMC/BL stable) is not listed in the dop down list when selecting when entering manually.
Did you try entering details manually?
That screenshot is only stating that the car could not be found using the online database they use.

TBF, if yours is a truly "historic" vehicle, WBAC is not the place to sell for best return.  I am sure I could sell your car to WBAC, so long as you accept the price that yields.  It might only be £50.

That still doesn't alter the fact that they DON'T buy any car. I am not selling the car, but I was curious as to whether their advertised statement is correct, it isn't.
I was thinking of replacing my car and got a quote from the local dealer where I had bought it from.  I also got a quote from WBAC and it was nearly  £2k less than the dealer  :D

I suspect they might buy most cars but as far as I am aware don’t guarantee any amounts.

I decided to keep my car in the end

Am I the only one that totally tunes adverts out.  I will sit there, probalby on my lappy or whatever, quite happily watching a programme, but when it comes to adverts I have absolutely no idea what ones have been shown.

Tesco adverts are the worst adverts to exist and they get more and more unbearable. People state that the purpose of the advert has worked, however, this is untrue - I actively avoid Tesco due to their awful adverts. The latest Marmite one is dreadful, who cares in the store if you love or hate Marmite.

No, you are not the only one. If and when I do mistakenly pay any attention, they are totally not relevant to me. Particulary with people "dancing" and and stupid so-called music.

You think you’ve got problems! I’ve just discovered The West Wing and I’m bingeing on Channel 4, but I wish to goodness that the nervous candidate would divulge his previous salary, the interviewer would tell him the salary for the new job, and the two of them would just get on with their lives and out of mine!!
(The ad is for Indeed, if anyone’s wondering.)

We record all the tv that we watch and fast forward the adverts.

the adverts that annoy me are for “ladies” products that go into graphic detail. Yes we all know what they are for!
