The pictures are so much better than the TV I'm watching it from!

What really bugs me about the Tesco adverts, is that they are beyond patronising. Many people say, well they worked, as you are talking about them. Absolutely not, their adverts make me feel sick and avoid Tesco due to their horrendous adverts. The shopping trolley one for Tesco mobile, the Mexican stand off advert, the new rave one at the till, the sourdough bread one ‘you could say, that’s our bread & butter. They are so cheap, unbearable and the worst marketing ever.

You can fast fwd the ads on ITV X
Are you sure about that? I think if you are not paying a subscription, it will not let you ffwd through the ads as far as I know.
Which is why I try and record any ITV programmes I might want to watch later, so I can ffwd the ads.
    +1 to this.
You can't fast forward through the ads on ITVX unless you pay for the service.

I agree.  I watch ITVX occasionally but not often enough to pay for no ads.  I usually put the tv on pause and dash off to the loo or to the kitchen to make the tea

It’s like Carole Voderman, maths genius and all round irritating person doing those ads designed to separate pensioners from their cash knowing they are being fleeced.
We are both very savvy with finance so ignore anything that is trying to part us unnecessarily from our money  :D

A few people have commented on We buy any car.  After contacting them I feel they should change their name to “We buy any car but don’t expect to get anything like the going rate”

And "We Buy Any Car" don't. Their name is misleading. They do not buy "Historic" vehicles. I might have missed it, but I could find no references to a car's age on their website. No, this isn't an invitation to trawl through their Ts & Cs to prove me wrong!
I don't intend selling to anyone, but was only curious by entering the registration. Yes, I did enter a legitimate and correct reg. as on the V5C. The make (part of the BMC/BL stable) is not listed in the dop down list when selecting when entering manually.

Did you try entering details manually?
That screenshot is only stating that the car could not be found using the online database they use.

TBF, if yours is a truly "historic" vehicle, WBAC is not the place to sell for best return.  I am sure I could sell your car to WBAC, so long as you accept the price that yields.  It might only be £50.

The advert I really cannot tolerate is the Trivago ad with Jurgen Klopp.  His manic grin at the end makes me shudder!

The Argos female Chucky doll creeps me out.
Argoss hyper-real Toy Story ad reminds us of wide product range The Drum

Connie?  I have some sympathy towards her, given that she seems to be an idealized modern Essex girl.  One can't help but think that she spends all day using the Fisher Price pull-along telephone to make calls relating to her 'Boss Babe' dolls-house letting business, drinking lattes from the Lego coffee bar and parking her jacked-up Peg Perego jeep on Toytown's double yellow lines, however.

Rather tolerate the ads than pay
I used to watch ITVx a lot and pay for no adverts. It cost me £3.99 a month in 2021 and they still charge me £3.99.   :D

I think it’s about £5 a month.  I would have thought £5 a month is tiny to stop the stress you are obviously having by watching adverts

That still doesn't alter the fact that they DON'T buy any car. I am not selling the car, but I was curious as to whether their advertised statement is correct, it isn't.
