  • Looking at the agile pricing tonight and now this free session I think we’ll have the kitchen and bathroom underfloor heating back on again overnight, plus the oil filled rad on a Tapo overnight too! Winner!

Setting everything to charge/run tomorrow morning.

The best I can do is an immersion heater (EV is in the garage ...) but I'm in!

Oven set for a cleaning session, immersion will go on, battery will complete its charge, dishwasher will run, various electric heaters will be brought out of the cupboard. Hoping for 15-20 kWh if I can manage it.

Managed to use 21.5 kWh, house is a toasty 21C (from 10C first thing this morning), washing machine maintenance wash done, and some batch cooking. Should get about £2.30 back.

Just looking at our app and OH discharged the battery to grid 4am-6am in order to recharge 7-9am.  Not sure what to think about discharging that time of day - we are on 🐙 fixed outgoing 15p per kWh but the grid doesn’t need it that time of day so from a moral standpoint this feels wrong to me.

EV should have gotten 15kwh out of the session but this doesn’t show on app as it otherwise drains the battery. This will be charged then credited to us 7p per kWh as we are on 🐙IO.

ran WMC, DW, TD and a convection heater got the lounge up to 18C.

not sure how much this will equate to as we might get it all back at 7p per kWh rate but it was all put to good use (aside from the battery discharge) and I suppose it doesn’t matter how much you get back but rather that the amount will cover your usage above your normal rate of usage.

Credit for last Sunday's session has arrived in account.
  • That’s nice and quick for the credit - I got 2p out of it as being on Agile we were in negative pricing for some of the time as I recall, so I’m actually quite impressed it was worth anything to us!

If it's the same as my area ,I think two slots were negative and two were low pricing

So the 2p will be from two of the four slots as I believe Agile negative pricing wins.

    I also got 2p. 🤣
