I had stuff prepped to go into the oven (I've managed to do this consistently), boiled the kettle to fill the slow cooker to poach a chicken, hot 60 min wash (would have worked better if the 'finish in' setting on the washing machine hadn't started 15 mins early, so will definitely do that manually in future), dryer and dishwasher on (delayed starts worked well), immersion and 4 electric towel rails on boost set to an hour, some rechargeable batteries on charge, all devices charging, and the ironing done. TD, oven, SC, charging, DW and ironing continued beyond the hour, but the bulk of the consumption for the TD and DW was in the hour, and the ironing was finished with residual heat... this is definitely making me think!
Washing done earlier on cold washes not suitable for the TD was hung on the towel rails while they were on and has now been moved to an airer in the hall to finish off. The additional heat from the towel rails is very welcome given the miserable weather today. And the woodburner is now lit (the chimney warms the hall and landing). It was easier to import more with the lack of solar generation today - and also extremely welcome as I've been putting a few things off. Obviously I wouldn't want to spend an hour ironing when the sun is shining anyway!2 -
I wasn’t organised like you @greenbee - only did a single hot wash, charged EV and solar battery for the hour. Will try to up my game if there is another one.
i have been thinkinh about turning on the immersion next session but have resisted as am concerned that it might trip the electrics on top of DW/TD/WMC & Solar battery & EV charging.
we are still trying to put off the 1st LB fire of the season - but have got a decent amount of seasoned firewood which am hoping will last us this year as we ran out last year and ended up
using GCH in April 😕Lancashire

Sunny with us so we were exporting throughout that period, thus I suppose adding to the problem. I wonder if somewhere down the road they might offer incentives to stop exporting at certain times.

Hmm. Doesn't coincide with a super low agile price so I'll have to manually setup my heating to come for the first half hour.Hmm I wonder if bottlecap daves HA add on has an entity for these savings sessions I can hook into.0
