Virtual white wine for this lady please, haha!
Yep, Brighton fan hence the seagull avatar. Couldn't help but notice your username ages ago. I really hope your team don't go 'Spursy' on Sunday like you did at the Amex.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i did wonder if you were a Brighton fan from your avatar! Your boys are doing well at the moment so I respect it, just a shame we threw a 2-0 lead! 😔1 -
@MrTottenham123, Is there any updates? Did Moorside issue a Court Claim to you?1

Good Morning all, so I have now received a letter of claim from Moorside Legal. I’m a bit unwell at the moment so don’t have the brainpower to comprehend it all and go through the whole letter, but what’s the next steps from here? Am I the first in the group to receive a LOC from Moorside?0

You're definitely not the first. The process you need to follow is detailed in the 12 steps in the Template Defence Announcement. Can you give us the Date of Issue shown on the actual claim form, and a redacted copy of the Particulars of Claim please. Thereafter, forum regular @KeithP will be along with some important dates you have to work to.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I’m at the point where I just feel like caving in and trying to get them to agree to the original £100 pay it and get this closed off. Just have a feeling they’re going to play that ‘admission’ to pay against me and I’m doomed anyway. Plus with how ill I am at the moment, I can’t be bothered to deal with the added stress this is going to cause me. 🥲0

The part where they’ve advised I agreed to pay within 28 days is total bulls**t,No it isn't. That's what parking in a place with signs means. You are deemed to have 'agreed' by parking.
Forget that point, but my Goodness, don't pay!
You will be using our detailed Template Defence - see the top of the forum - which leaves you ONE paragraph to add. This month I've even started giving people a generic script for that paragraph too! Leaving people literally ONE DATE to change, and your name & claim details added at the top.
Signature and date at the end. Job done.
It is twenty times easier than any appeals system. Done by email. No risk. No cost.
No hearing because they are likely to discontinue. Moorside will follow the same path as DCB Legal.
No solicitor needed at all. No stress. Dead easy! DO NOT PAY. It's simple.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

when you say top of the forum, are we talking about the newbie’s thread? If so I shall go back and have a look through this to find out exactly what I’m doing.
At this point, is an email response viable? As I thought I had to respond via the response forms given with the letter of claim.
thank you for the help!0 -
No I'm not talking about the NEWBIES thread.
