Noticed Philips soundbar switched away from HDMI 1 today whilst vm stream on live pause.
This resulted in oled blank screen, maybe my recent rtx4070 black screens were soundbar rather than gpu cause.
Montoring new 265k ultra's cpu's before purchasing new pc- 100% yet another new HDMI cable.
There's been tips to try 8k certified cable rather than 4k.

I suspect rtx  50series pre built to be more expensive and unachievable ref 2.45k PayPal limit. 
Edited as this mornings Nvidia event was enjoyable albeit AI driven.
4080 pre build now 2.399k=<2.45k PP Limit.

It’s been lots of post HP Omen return time.
Almost awaiting Scan 3xs pc -ordered today,  PayPal were helpful as were Scan.
Need to allow a few days for pre build to begin.
Believing Intel 265k deserves my last ever pc purchase, rtx507o ti, hopefully some +fps from 4070ti.
Maybe 16gb gddr7 helps v 12gb.
2x8k hdmi’s Did NVidia Ever ‘fix’ intermittent blank screen.
Pleased to read Curry’s CRT Flexi Pay apr reduction today 29.99 to 19.9, could be useful if required.

I mean this in the kindest way possible. You have had more tech issues in six months than I have had in the last thirty years, there has to be something with the way you are handling/using them and reading some of your posts I get the impression you are tinkering with parts of the tech that you probably do not understand what you are doing.

Scan 3XS have a good reputation, but please use it in the setup it arrives from them, no overclocking, no tinkering with advanced settings.

All things being equal a 5070ti will of course be faster than a 4070ti, Same settings, same resolution, before MFG it should be about 4-8% faster depending on the game, with MFG framerate can go higher, so it is visually more fluid, but at the cost of an increase in latency. The 5070ti will also be able to use the new Transformer model of DLSS more efficiently, so that will offer benefits in games with DLSS. The 5070ti is not a 4k max card by any stretch, it offers good performance at 1440p with higher settings and using DLSS, but if you are playing at 4k it is going to struggle to hit 100+fps in modern games. Even a 5090 cannot hit 100+ fps in something like CP2077 with path tracing, Indiana Jones, Alan Wake etc. maxed out and that is nearly four times more powerful. To not just ramp everything up to max and expect to get 100fps, in many games you would struggle to get 30fps without DLSS.

It will not make much if any difference to FPS, it does allow higher textures and the use of higher DLSS settings, more RT etc.

If you try and drive two 8k displays from a 5070ti you are going to be sorely disappointed in any game, the same with two 4k displays and two 1440p displays.

It was a driver issue that lasted less than a week.

A, I would never buy anything from Curry's, B, I would never buy on credit. If one cannot afford to buy a gaming PC or console outright then one should not be buying it full stop.

‘Tech Issues’
None more than being caught up in Raptor Lake+NVidia concerns.
I was impatient returning 13700k inside a few weeks.
Reviewing info since seems Intel Later microcode was early 2025.
NVidia’s Black Screen was very recently, if it’s resolved.
2x8K Cables I ordered as taken from a 3rd party Black Screen workaround.
Intel chosen Chip, v AMD ‘Fastest’ fps chips.
Only planning minor upgrades and past any ‘fastest fps’ requirements.
DLSS /MFG hoping to try those with a stable vid sig via soundbar/oled, prob much of a return priority in addition to early Microcodes.
t.b.f. Microsoft were in midst of Win11 updates, thankfully I’m looking forward to ruling out any hdmi/soundbar concerns.
Only ordered 265k when some reasonable FP’s examples were seen via YouTube.
I have immediate upgrade as mistakenly ordered 16gb ddr5 vers, should have been 32gb.

Never got try this 8/10/24 workaround….

When you use your OLED check under Windows "Display settings" that Windows is indeed recognizing your OLED tv and then change to the correct frequency ie 120hz.

When you play on pc and OLED tv make sure you follow my other options its also very important:

Settings on PC with the NEW cable:

- Enable HDR in windows.- Enable VRR in TV settings- Turn off ECO mode and Demo mode in TV settings- Turn off "Tv turn off after set amount of time".- Use the "change resolution" in windows and USE the PC resolution to your native resolution of the TV. Important! Use PC resolution. On Windows options you have TV res and below that you have PC res CHOOSE PC res not TV res. Then click OK and APPLY (=save)Use the highest "bit color" ie 12bit in NVIDIA Control panel color settings. This is also important 12 bit color."adjust desktop color settings" option in NVIDIA control panel under "change resolution" i believe, you see an option "Content type reported to the display'' --

Intended as GPU Black Screen workaround, also my 13700k via Win11 was caught with loss of HDR , I think MS Win update fixed that.

Finally before latest pc is ready, I’m tempted to enable xmp If it helps boost 5200 hz DDR5 speed.
It Is possible that went towards Omen Case becoming steamed up!
Installing office 365, 2nd ssd is more urgent!
