They haven’t discontinued yet but they have been calling me every morning. Luckily I have been missing their calls but heard their messages! Just asking me to call them back.

It is added to the end of the Word document, just waiting for DCBL to discontinue before turning it into a .pdf and adding to judgments link.

Hi all 

I have not heard anything back from the court or from DCB. They sometimes call me randomly asking for payment 

Should i breathe and take this as a win where I wont have to go court even though I have had no official correspondence from court?

Yes, take it as a win, but you could call the court and give them the case reference number,  to ask if its been discontinued or struck out  !  ( or still in limbo   )

I think you should email the court to confirm the claim stands struck out because the Claimant failed to comply with the Order. Tell them you need to have certainty and to close your file.

What a waste of your time and court time. It looks like you've won, so I'm gonna say:

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

You won the battle. But what about the war?

If you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you join us to reply to the new Public Consultation, to tell the Government NOW that:

a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY A THIRD PARTY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A POINTLESS 'PAYMENT PLAN' BEFORE COURT. THIS MAKES COURT MORE ATTRACTIVE BECAUSE PARKING FIRMS RARELY WIN DEFENDED CASES, SO WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY MORE THAN THE PCN AT PRE-ACTION STAGE?

c). Tell them about your experience and that your case proceeded to a claim precisely because (a) and (b) above mean there is no option, no safeguard for consumers EXCEPT court. And the claim got struck out so ut was proved to be the usual waste of court resources.

Yes of course I will be more than happy to be part of the war against them! 

I’m so happy it’s over but it has been so stressful for me. As I was new to
all this, I had many sleepless nights feeling out of my depth etc 

But as you said, I will join and reply to the consultation on the link you provided 

thanking you all for all your support I would not have stayed until the end without all the support from this forum!
