    Hi All

Had my mediation call today. When I said to the mediator that I am not willing to pay anything, he said that means that I am withdrawing from mediation and he would make this known to court. Also reminded me that the courts prefer a settlement. He said they have pictures of my car out of the bay and that they would use that in court as evidence which will be a lot more weighty than my words stating that the lines are unclear. I said to him that from an image far away, lines are visible more than they are when you're on the ground but he said that the picture will be used in court.

He said I can put an offer to them instead of withdrawing. Should I still stick to saying £0.  I am feeling worried as he said he will make it known to the court that I have withdrawn from mediation which doesn't look good on me right?
You must complain to the Mediation Service about this misleading and biased rubbish.

The new rules about compulsory mediation do NOT require a party to make any settlement offer so he was either lying or badly trained.

You are allowed to offer nothing and had not 'withdrawn' from mediation.
You attended the call, which is all a party is required to do.  COMPLAIN.

  • Hello ALL
I haven't been on here for some time as I had received nothing and the last thing I have done is my mediation

Just  wanted to update that I received a letter from my local county court. They have ordered that UK Parking control LTD now need to send their Particulars of  claim within 7 days. If they don't then this claim will be struck out

This seems to be never ending. I feel so out of my depth and anxious. I really hope they don't respond so it is struck out

Not looking for an answer, just some prayers, good wishes etc. I am really stressed out.

    This is good news.

It means the Judge thinks the way they pleaded their claim is not compliant with the Procedure rules and he/she has ordered the Claimant to provide a proper explanation, or the claim is dead.

Which solicitor firm filed the claim?

Please show us the Order, including the date, court, Judge's name (but not showing your name or the Claim number).
