I got an invoice yesterday (pens received weeks ago) with no charge for p+p, and I live in N.Ireland. First time in ages a company from England has given me free p+p!!! Can I withold payment until the speakers arrive or do I have to pay up now? It's the principle of the thing, not the 68p!!!

Also spent 1 hour on hold on their freephone number.... how can a company go on like this.......

Spoke to a very nice lady.. who said she would re-fund my CC for the money taken .. she got concerend when I remined her that they are in breach of

"Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which states that the trader must deliver the goods within 30 days of the order"

I ordered this on 4th October, had an email saying about the warehouse move etc. haven't thought about it since. just checked their website to see if i could log in anywhere to check my order? ???
by chance i clicked on the "verisign" secure site thingy in the bottom right of the screen, (it says to click to check, so i thought i'd be nosey! ) it says that their Membership(?) has expired, as of 17th September 2004! >:( >:(

Managed to get through to Staples after trying for the last few days but, because I was kept holding in their automated switchboard for ages, I was routed to sales.

I was advised that the surround sound system was out of stock and I would receive it once it came back in stock.

I will wait and see but I won't hold my breath.

OK so we wanted the surround sound system coz it was FREE and we all ordered a cheap pen to get the offer. We should NOT be pushed around like this.
