recieved a letter from staples today saying that my pen would be delivered in 2 weeks - I ordered the day this thread started! No mention of free gift so rang customer services - free phone number - but you wait absolutely ages before anyone answers.
was told no free gifts available at present but could be put on mailing list so one could be sent out at a later date - was about to agree to be put on the mailing list when was offered a free digital camera instead - will not hold my breath whilst waiting for it >:(0 -
Received an invoice from Staples today - pen + welcome pack £4.56 (missed out on the cheap pen - mine was 94p!) Am still anxiously awaiting the jiffy bag with the pen - what's the welcome pack (Cost £0.00) They say they have taken the money from the credit card, but haven't checked yet - no mention of free gift - ???0

Wonder how long we will have to wait for it? Is it worth ringing customer services?

Well i am in the same situation as most of you..
order ages ago.. paid by CC .. received invoice today requesting payment of £4.14 ... and there is no free gift on the invoice..
will speak to them tomorrow.0 -

I don't know about this one again like the woolies deal I just think we hit the S**t out of them and have genuinly overloaded them at a difficult time, it may just be that supplies were far outstripped by demand due to the postings in forums, I called cust services today and got through relatively quickly, I spoke to a young lady who quite clearly knew of my order and confirmed all details including my business name, she also confimed that my free item surround sound speakers would be despatched in two weeks or very near thereabouts, she spoke confidently throughout and I have no reason to doubt her.
I say sit back a little and give them the two weeks they are asking for and give them an opportunity to regroup and sort this out.
Bear in mind if everytime an offer is posted we bombard these companies with complaints because of delays it will be a disincentive to making such offers in the future lets not kill the golden goose, by all means kick it around the garden for a while till it comes to its senses but a dead goose is dinner for a day a live one is scrambled eggs for breakfast every day,Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
same here, a second class post invoice... no goods.. no free gift, no nothing but invoice saying they have charged me .. which they did.. im a bit cross >:(

I got a call from them this afternoon and they've promised to send out a new ink cart.
