    So fully ignore anything from now on…all correspondence including not paying the £280?

    Finally do we need to worry that we have written to CBC, asking to set judgement aside and the forms this received? Would this not alert National Parking Management and Gladstone Solicitors?

    No they don't know he contacted the CNBC.  Our advice would normally be to set the CCJ aside but in his unusual circumstances that you've confirmed (a CCJ won't affect him) and it's well under £600, nothing will happen except an Empira hopeful demand or two.

    @Grizebeck do you agree?

    Thanks Coupon, I wish I knew all this to relay to my dad when I first posted and we would be in a much better then.

    Hopefully the end of it? Or safe bet still to do the N244, if nobody is going to demand the outstanding balance (£288.95) and it is only going to be a case of credit history ruined and affected (plus letters) then my dad can live with that.

    The post above/attached confirms this too?

    It's a standard letter but you've covered up the amount.  My advice depends on it being under £600.

    Nothing will happen except the Empira threatograms.  Ignore those.

    Or do what I suggested and reply once, telling Empira that the D is vulnerable, nearly 80 years old and will not be paying a scam parking firm or their roboclaim hangers-on.  His new address is with family at YOUR ADDRESS and Empira, Gladstones and their client must all now erase the old address and note his vulnerability and wind their necks in.

    His choice which path to do.

  • Thank you so much to all of you who have taken the time out to advise, support and help me and my dad.
    Also to have had patience with me whilst I have taken a lot of stress, thank you.

    You all are wonderful people and please keep up the good work in helping and assisting everybody from these fraudsters and scams!

    Whilst there are these forums and people like yourselves, we can still smile that genuine good people still exist 😃
  • Hi all

    @Coupon-mad I have received a first text from Empira that you mentioned above. Please see attached? Is this to be ignored?
