How to get the MSE £50 Hargreaves Lansdown Offer?

I saw that MSE has a £50 bonus offer if you invest £100 with Hargreaves Lansdown,
I'm not quite sure how I access this, I saw it is under 'MSE Blagged' so I assume it is for MSE only.
Do I just click on any Hargreaves lansdown link through the MSE site, open an account and deposit £100 and will automatically get the offer?
Has anyone done it, any advice is greatly appreciated!

The link from the weekly email is broken, so doesn't take you to where the offer should be (there's no #cashback tag on the S&S ISA page at the time of posting), so I'd suggest reporting that to them on their broken link address rather than hoping that HL would honour it when opening an account from generic pages rather than offer-specific ones:£50 cashback on £100 investment from UK giant Hargreaves Lansdown. MSE Blagged. If you plan to invest, this deal from investment platform Hargreaves Lansdown's managed portfolio offers a tidy boost. Keep £100+ invested for 7mths+ & you'll get £50 cashback. This isn't a recommendation - we don't do investment tips - but if you'll use it anyway, you can get cashback. Full info in Stocks & shares ISAs.1

Very suspicious of this offer and I would be very interested to hear from anyone who received the MSE bonus. I received the MSE email containing the offer at 2041 on Tuesday 23 July. I completed the application using the link provided, completed the application and paid £100 by 0700 the next morning on Wednesday 24 July. The application process is very involved and you need to know what you are doing and have an understanding of buying stocks and shares. I have now been told by HL that if I have not received an email by now saying I qualified for the bonus I will not receive it. Well, I didn't receive an email. I find it very hard to believe HL received fully completed and funded applications from 1000 investors by 0700 on Wednesday. This should be investigated.2

I've informed the MSE Money Team and they're currently looking into it.

I applied through the Newsletter, but it didnt track. Emailed H&L Support and got the following response:
This offer was only available for the first 1000 applicants who opened a new Stocks & Shares ISA using the link.
We received the update for qualifying applications on Friday the 26th July 2024 and sent emails to those who qualified.
If you have not received this email then I'm afraid you will not have qualified for the offer.

Similar experience to everyone above and now being told I didn't qualify because I wasn't in the first 1000. No notification if you didn't qualify, you only find out by querying them.
I don't have an issue with the offer being limited, I do have an issue with HL continuing to accept sign ups (via the promotion link) knowing full well they've exceeded the initial 1000 qualifying.
Certainly feel a bit "mis sold" by the whole thing and I'm sure it's not in the spirit of the deal blagged by MSE to allow people to continue to sign up when it was already oversubscribed.

On the back of this thread, I emailed them and got a the following response
"The cashback will be credited within one month of the end of the offer period (from the 21st September 2024). This offer will be available to the first 1000 clients. You will be contacted be email once the cashback has been credited to your account."
They haven't said either way if I've qualified but since it's a different tone to others, possibly means I have?0
