Good morning 😁
Thank you for the lists.
I popped in yesterday, but didn't get round to posting. We visited the big yellow store to pick up the cot & mattress. We also picked up a new desk for DH for £25 (which means I can have the old, slightly larger one back in the summerhouse), a unit for DS's new & very large printer, a kitchen trolley (they do a smaller version now) to go between the WM & TD & few other random bits. Everything has been built (a new record for us), including the cot by DSiL 👍
In the afternoon DH took the old felting off of the summerhouse, and a whole ecosystem of ivy!! That has all been bagged up & we need to do a tip tun today. I will sort out a few other bits to go while he is there!
I pulled out the TD & cleaned behind it.
The plan for today is:
Tip run
Re-felt summerhouse
Allotment!!!
Probably need to buy some food at some point....
Ok - smart watch is charged, so I had better get up & on it, before it gets too hot! Cuppa has been had, and DW is on.
Have a good day everyone x

Morning all.
So far washing machine has been whirring away since the early hours, dog has been walked, gardens watered. I'm just having breakfast.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Dried a washload in record time and put it away. Vacuumed through downstairs. We went for a walk before it got too hot but now I'm indoors with the blinds shut. 35C in the back garden in the sun.

Re eggs, you live and learn. If they're not suitable for meringues they should say so on the carton as I imagine many people buy them for this purpose, only to be disappointed. Anyway, the meringues I made using separated fresh eggs seem to have worked well as A (who is very fussy discerning) loves them. This morning I popped out to get the paper and apart from washing-up A's breakfast things, putting away a Waitrose delivery and preparing lunch I haven't done anything much but. It wasn't too bad, heat-wise, this morning but it's starting to hot up now so not a day for flying.6

Hello. Piggers, I have a friend who does spinning but she does have a farm with sheep.
Anyhoo... I have done things today...changed bedding, freshened sofa covers, dailies, exercise class(ducked out halfway through due to heat), tip run, some shopping, cleaned downstairs loo. Washing is all dry but not put away yet.Spend less now, work less later.8 -

Hi
Checking in, I panicked a bit because I couldn't find you. Plodding on here, the paid stuff is a bit rubbish, lots of difficult things going on. The anxiety is still around but I have another phone appointment on Friday.
HB DH has been carpet cleaning too, he has done the lounge. I have done very little Flying other than keeping on top of the laundry and doing the basics.

Kudos to your OH YL. It's hard work but the carpets look so much better after they've been washed, so it is worth it. I've finished the dining room spring clean and carpet wash. and am about halfway through the carpet wash in the sitting room, with about a quarter of the spring cleaning done, but that includes the radiator and washing the wall above it, which was risky but it looked really grubby so I'm pleased I've done it. I took some pictures down and they all had fluffy backs. Belovéd washed various bits of ornamental gibble from the dining room, got the laundry in and then rehung the shower curtains I'd washed this morning so I'm very grateful for that. He also took me out to a local proper pizza place and to see The Devil Wears Prada which wasn't anywhere near as good as we'd hoped.I'd like to finish the sitting room tomorrow but that section includes one of Belovéd's floor to ceiling bookcase which is rammed full so it'll be chocka with dust, huge sash window, shutters and the door in a complicated frame.I also listed a lot of stuff we can do without on Marketplace and have had a sniff of interest for one of the items so that's a start on the degibbling.Serious cleaning really shows up the bits of the house that haven't been done, so I'm defo going to have to tackle the airlock, the bottom of the stairs and the stairs themselves. They are evil.Just realised I haven't done the central ceiling light in either room. Oops.Better is good enough.6
