I always pay when I win, usually immediately.
I always honour a sale, even if it sells for far less than I hoped.

yes me too!!!!! dont always assume that because someone has become suspended that they are not honest sellers/buyers!!!!
I had more than 500 transactions and 100% feedback!!!!

Ebay are a privately owned company and are fully entitled to run it as they see fit, provided they operate within UK law etc.
So are banks but it doesn't stop people complaining about bank charges.
It is doubtful as to if Ebay or Paypal operate within UK law, such as the way Paypal can decide to hold onto your money for 180 days and the way Ebay wash their hands of any responsibility for what goes on on their site.0 -
Should this thread be transferred to "Ebay - Good News Stories" ?0

Why are ebay being so harsh to me?! Theres people on ebay selling fake items, scamming people, not sending the right iteem, sending items weeks if not months late. Why are those people not getting suspended?
Because the sale goes through and ebay get their fees. You didn't pay so ebay didn't get the fees, or had to refund them. ebay don't care what you do as long as they get paid, but when you do something that results in them having to refund fees they don't like it.0 -

You set up a new account in the hope you'd get away with it.
Actually this may not be correct. The OP says his/her account was suspended ABOUT a year ago. He/she couldn't remember the account details so tried to set up a new account.
It is possible they simply thought "My suspension is up now, but I can't remember my account details so it may be easier to just register a new account." No malice intended, simply thinking they were doing it the easiest way.0 -

So OP - How many months do you have left of your ban?
If it was so long ago that you 'forgot about' your details etc.... I assume you are not 'banned for 12 months' but only a short period of time ie 12months less the time you were not on eBay?:rolleyes:I am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)

Reading the first post it sounds like the OP got a 12 month ban, it was up, or just about up when they tried to register a new account and this resulted in another 12 ban.0 -

Don't ebay have the means of reminding people of lost details then?
Also, the OP hit unusually bad times at the time of the ban - things like that tend to stick in your memory.
Opening a brand new account makes no sense - unless it was a deliberate attempt at bypassing the ban of course!0
