  • Does anyone know what the sort code for T212 is? I am asking them through chat and they tell me to go to my payments page on the app. I am not using the app, and I have not set up any payments, so can't access the page.

I'm going to need a sort code for a transfer out and they say they don't have one! T212 is the worst banking experience I have had in my entire life. The chat agent says to put 00-00-00 on the form. Is this normal? Has anyone else tranferred out their T212 ISA?
  • I sent the screenshot to T212 also and ask them how to get the code.
Regarding the complaint i made about this around 6 weeks ago this is the main part of their final response.

Assume that their helpful help page does not mention anything about the verification code that gets sent to browser?

T212 also have a web interface you could try.

However, their generic sort code and account number are:

    60-92-42
    71003704

You will also need to quote the reference numbers for your account(s) which will be unique to you

In the browser select the account icon at the top left of the page then 'deposit funds.'  Click on one of your accounts* in the 'bank transfer' section. The next dialogue box will show each currency and the account details for each plus your unique account reference number.

*If it's empty you might need to add an account.

Trading 212 seem to use account id numbers. Maybe this alone is enough to enter on the ISA Transfer form.
In desktop, these accounts ID's can be found in Settings>My account
Only issue is verification is needed to access it!

I went to do the tranfer in to my other ISA provider. My provider says: "We can only accept Cash ISA transfers into our Online ISA from  providers that subscribe to the BACS Electronic ISA Transfer Services"
Trading 212 (nor JP Morgan Chase) not part of the BACS Electronic Transfer Services.
I have used a different ISA provider to request the transfer (although this isn't my preferred account due to lower interest) I will transfer again later.
I did find those details GT94sss2 quoted on my original transfer in request to T212 form, along with my own ref number.
Let's see if my transfer goes smoothly.
T212 keep saying they need to verify me, which I have done several times. I can't access parts of my account as they say they have sent a code to Firefox which I never receive. There is no way around that.
Their customer service is atrocious, they are unable to answer a simple question, there is no phone number, only online chat. This is my worst banking experience, if you can even call them a bank. They don't seem very trustworthy.
I am forgoing the high interest for a more trustworthy and usable bank.....
I will let you know how the transfer-out goes.
    BE WARNED!!!!!

  • My ISA funds arrived this morning. It took 14 days in total for the transfer. I am just happy that I was able to do so. Good riddance Trading 212 - my worst banking experience ever. Now to email them to ask them to close my Trading 212 account and online account as I can't do it from their website as I would need the ghost code that they sent to firefox that I don't ever recieve and they're customer service can't explain why or even understand what I mean.....

T212’s a stockbroker. I think they probably did understand and that’s why you were asked for a selfie, it’s part of the process to disable 2FA, but you refused.

Just because you did not have an issue with their website, it does not mean you can ignore or not believe what other people say they experienced. I am not explaining it any further other than to state that I can't now even get to the selfie page due to not being able to get the stupid code. I know what happened on my account and you do not! TRADING 212 are rediculous, clearly not a bank, certainly not worthy of having my dosh. I have voted with my feet. Maybe try being more empathetic towards people on the forum. I don't need any Mansplaining about 2FA either. Thank you.

Can I ask which ISA provider you were finally able to transfer your funds to?
