@biggerpickle remind me, are you in a self-managed DMP? Lots of people start off doing it via an organisation and then move to self-administered as it gives more control. Sorry if I have this wrong or if you're just paying down non-defaulted amounts. People with more expertise than me will be along shortly. Love Humdinger xx1

I'm still cheering you on!!Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

The odd £6 on the Natwest balance was bugging me so I've paid it off (the minimum payment this month was slightly more than the fixed amount DD I'd set up) and I've decided that Very is going in 2 installments and not 3, I know its interest free BNPL but with that and HMRC going in August that's 2 debt items off the list by the end of the summer holidays which I feel will make the juggle easier.
The Klarnadebt is a relatively small amount monthly (£56) IFC for the next 12 months and the school sports trip is fixed installments and Halifax is a overseas spend fee free card and I'll be using that in August & Sept visiting overseas family & friends so I don't mind sucking up the interest charges if I can't clear the holiday money in the same month. I feel like I have a more solid interim plan instead of the nebulous "pay it all off at some point" plan. Baby steps and all that!July 2024 £12,150 Aug 2025 B/Card £6,300, N/West £1,770, Halifax £1,182, Klarna £568, Sports Trip £335, Very £122 & HMRC GONE!!!! Total £10,2761 -
My car is in the garage again with similar issues as the £1,164 in April. I am living in dread of the phone today with the potential cost.
