I think Wynn and Harrahs properties are the two cards i've never actually got round to signing up to!!!! which is so annoying as they also seem to be the most 'forthcoming' with decent offers!

    next time!

travelex with a price match is also a good option. see main site on travel money .

Volcano link now up on the guide , cheers NVH:T

by the way anyone who thinks it is not worth signing up for the players club, think again. today i received a named offer for the Wynn of $129 a night . i think i have gambled about $20 in there.

i would of course post it , but it is a name offer, meaning only available to the specfic member. shame .

I just booked a Virgin flight plus 3 nights at the Wynn in Feb 09 for just over £600 through Expedia

Over on Vflyer there is a dissuasion on VS cancelling a Vegas flight last week, reason given was short of aircraft. Some digging around was done and consensus was that because the load for the next 2 days was light, they just cancelled a flight and stuck everyone on the next days flight!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • I just hope Virgin stay in business long enough to get me and the missus to/from LA next june!!

Our trip is slowing coming together, but rather scarily seems to be rapidly approaching.

So far Ive got us return Upper Class Heathrow to LAX for £1500 + 120,000 miles
5 nights in Luxor Spa Suit for $940 (but this can be reduced to about $800 once i get round to ringing up and re-booking under a different offer)
6 nights at the Mirage for $643

Sandwich inbetween that are a few nights in LA at either end of the vegas stint.

Still have to book the car to take us from LA to vegas, despite plenty of advice and discussion on here the other week ive still not gone and done it.

163 days and counting according to my online booking at virgin.....

restaurant.com has an 80% deal again - code is SANTA.

Just ordered $25 off Austin's at Texas Station (great steaks!)

$25 off Ali Baba (Lebanese - never tried this one but love Lebanese)

    50% off Ben & Jerry's

For a grand total of $4.60.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Don't forget to get to the clubhouse nice and early, opens at 7am. , and make sure you book your treatments for haircut, manicure etc just after 6 weeks before your trip, as your flight is fairly early you will find that the treatments get booked pretty solid first thing.
