Anyone else going to see Hatton in Vegas?

Or is it just me :D

We'll be there when it's on, but probably won't be going to see it.

  • Hi All

Thought I would put a list on here of the things we plan to pack into 7 days in Vegas along with their rough costs (simply taken from https://www.vegas.com, I am guessing that there will be a number of coupons that we will be able to get when we are out there for a couple of $ off or 2 for the price of 1 or something)!!

    Going on 24th November ....

Will give a short review of each one we have time to do when we get back....

Helicopter trip to Grand Canyon - $350
    Stratosphere Rides - $32
    Carrot Top @ Luxor - $60
    Bodies @ Luxor - $32
    Secret Garden @ Mirage - $15
    Lance Burton @ Mirage - $75 or David Copperfield @ MGM Grand - $75
    Circus Circus - Free
    Sky Dive - $150
    Shark Reef @ Mandalay Bay - $16.95
    Gondola @ Venetian - $16
    Fountains @ Bellagio - Free
The Aquarium @ Silverton - Free
Fall of Atlantis Fountains @ Caesars Palace - Free

Well if you haven't got tickets now unless you're going to pay a small fortune over there you wont get to see it. However, if you do change your mind the MGM last time had a huge screen up and charged about $50 to get in and see it.

I fly out Wed and back Mon.

Helicopter trip to Grand Canyon - $350 - I drove there and flew over it in a tin pot plane, also have been half way down it and rafted for 2 days - Amazing.

Stratosphere Rides - $32 - Took one look and changed my mind :D

Carrot Top @ Luxor - $60 - Heard really really bad reviews about this guy, seen Elton John and Celine Dion though. Excellent.

Bodies @ Luxor - $32 - Somewhere i wish i had have gone when i was there since it is supposed to be great.

Secret Garden @ Mirage - $15 - Never even heard of it.

Lance Burton @ Mirage - $75 or David Copperfield @ MGM Grand - $75 - Go for Copperfield although i have never seen either.

Circus Circus - Free - Why is it free ;)

Sky Dive - $150 - Never sky dived but have parachuted on a static line 9 times and it was great although each time was from only 1000ft and out the back of a C130 - would absolutely love to sky dive, i might see if i can squeeze one in this weekend actually.

Shark Reef @ Mandalay Bay - $16.95 - Never been but went to Shark Reef at Disney and it was great.

Gondola @ Venetian - $16 - No, and when i went to Venice refused to pay 75odd Euro's to go on one.

Fountains @ Bellagio - Free - These are great, kids love them, although im not sure they 'dance' to the music.

The Aquarium @ Silverton - Free - Wish id have known about this too since i never went.

Fall of Atlantis Fountains @ Caesars Palace - Free - Again didn't see these either.

    Can i add:

    Hoover Damn
    Willow Beach
    Laughlin (if you have time)
    Quad biking

    Have a fantastic time :D

Another suggestion for a different experience in Vegas is the museum of atomic testing on Flamingo just beyond Terribles casino.

    Hi All
    Carrot Top @ Luxor - $60

Carrot Top is regularly available at the 1/2 price ticket booths if you go early enough in the day.

We thought the show was hilarious - we were literally in tears laughing so hard.

I know when Bodies was at Tropicana the 1/2 price ticket booths had discounts for that one too...wasn't quite 1/2 price, but may be worth looking into whether they're offering the same sort of deal now it's at Luxor. I haven't seen Bodies in Vegas but I saw it several years ago in Chicago and thought it was mostly pretty cool...a few of them freaked me out a bit but most were just really interesting.

Oh - and maybe swing by the gardens at Tropicana when you're in the area - it's free, nowhere near as exciting as the Secret Garden at Mirage, but rather cool that there's this little bit of tranquility amid all the chaos.

Carrot Top is great(never heard a bad review). Changes his show quite often. His show revolves around visual jokes, props etc. We laughed our heads off. We are going to see him again in January, and I have NEVER been to see anything twice.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

We have thought about doing this but haven't yet - have also considered the test site tours but it's a long day and seems quite basic (bring your own lunch, etc.)...I fear lack of toilets too (my biggest fear. :))

we would also see him again.

The only bad reviews I've seen are of his movies and his television commercials...even the girl at the 1/2 price booth said when we bought the tickets that she hated his movies but loved his show and had seen it several times.
