    Hi Gang
I got back from Vegas about a month ago and thought you might like a list of the buffets available. Here is a link to some scans of the Today magazine...
    http://www.!!!!!!/file/4222883/1d65abde/LVBuffets.html
(Click on the "click here" link - bottom right)
This magazine is an excellent read whilst in Vegas and contains many offers/coupons etc.
I will post a report of my visit soon.

    Regards

    Mark

    Edit - The Magazine's website is here!.....http://todayinlv.com/

Look forward to the report and glad you were able to make it after your uncertainty!

The list of buffets is great, but wonder how often they update it as Bally's buffet closed in February!

This may be relevant ( or not)

If anyone has booked\was planning to fly from MAN to LAS with bmi after Easter 09 then you've missed the boat :rolleyes:plane

    MAN-LAS bmi axed

They've also axed the MAN-ORD flight from Jan 15th 09 if anyone had connections.

Gutted. Flew with them to Vegas twice and really enjoyed the flights (and I don't like flying). Don't fancy Thomas Cook with 15kg allowance and Gatwick is just too far from the North West. Looks like indirect flights maybe our best option.

Just thinking, maybe this is a good excuse to go again before they stop the flights !

I was limited to 3 dates in March - got Raer Orch but view looks very good - probably not a bad seat in the house.

The email said preferential tix if you typed in code but the tickets were exactly the same.

Anyway all sorted now - Liz is very happy!!

I was in Rear Orchestra 3 when I went to see Cher in June this year, was a good view.

Although she is off stage for about as much time as she is on, changing costumes between each song, and you watch video clips on a big screen while she is changing. Still a good show though.

Running out of money in Vegas ? Eat free !
Riviera offers free breakfast or lunch when you request it at their Player's Club showing your Player card and your air ticket. According to the conditions it's available once a month-although the Club told me it was once only offer. I'll update next month when I try to get it for second time :) Not the best buffet in Vegas but a free lunch is free lunch !!
What other genuinely free offers (rather than comps that need to be earned) can anyone else add ?

Timeshares usually good for a free lunch and a stash of used notes......back in the distant past student days, was great way of supplementing a cheap holiday with ready cash......all it needed was a tie to attract the touts.

Let them know early on youre a timewaster, and they wont waste much more of their own time......theyll hand over the $300 or whatever just to get rid of you.

Hello everyone :D I daren't come on here anymore now I can't go back to vegas for a while.

Just to let you know that I have just booked 3 nights at Planet Hollywood for my MIL for £136, which I thought was very reasonable. 25-28 Nov so Tue, Wed and Thurs. Booked through Alpharooms, via quidco (7% so £9.50 or so back from there too).

Anyone had any experience of whether the $20 trick works at PH?

Also - MIL wants to see Bette Midler whilst she is there - any ideas for the best place to buy tickets?

I tried to use a 50 to get an upgrade there. She had a look, got me a Resort room and handed back the 50:T :T
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Has it ever crossed anyones mind that if advertising were allowed on this thread it would be worth its weight in gold
