If anyone has booked\was planning to fly from MAN to LAS with bmi after Easter 09 then you've missed the boat :rolleyes:plane

    MAN-LAS bmi axed

    Jeepers.
I didn't see that one coming (not that I would have as we fly from London, but I always assumed that was a solid route for them being the only other direct flight from the UK).

Will be interesting to see the impact on Virgin's prices...maybe they will see enough increased demand to actually make some changes?

MGM Grand from $59 plus $300 flyback certificate which may have little value to us, but as has previously been mentioned may have some value on ebay. :)

When things went tits up at openvegas people seemed to split into 2. Whatbrianthinks was one and this one was started by blondie- I would note that the whatbrian and blondies both seemed to have become a lot slower in traffic and posts in the last 3/4 weeks

I have never visited either of those sites, i will take a look.

Is the whatbrianthinks site the same brian who always posted about the Wynn on openvegas? If so, his posts used to wind me up:confused:

Of course Thomas Cook/MyTravel still fly direct from Man to Vegas
  • Thanks

I just ordered online, got a ticket 5 rows from front in May. Strange they wouldnt sell a ticket when I went to the box office in person though.

I was limited to 3 dates in March - got Raer Orch but view looks very good - probably not a bad seat in the house.

The email said preferential tix if you typed in code but the tickets were exactly the same.

Anyway all sorted now - Liz is very happy!!

    Hi Gang
I got back from Vegas about a month ago and thought you might like a list of the buffets available. Here is a link to some scans of the Today magazine...
    http://www.!!!!!!/file/4222883/1d65abde/LVBuffets.html
(Click on the "click here" link - bottom right)
This magazine is an excellent read whilst in Vegas and contains many offers/coupons etc.
I will post a report of my visit soon.

    Regards

    Mark

    Edit - The Magazine's website is here!.....http://todayinlv.com/

They've also axed the MAN-ORD flight from Jan 15th 09 if anyone had connections.

    :(:( _pale_ _pale_ _pale_

okay we still have My Travel / thomas cook but there will be a few hundred extra people fighting over the fares/ seats . and My Travel did not operate flights for the first few months of this year either.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
