Ferf/froggitt - thanks for the tips abut Love seats. I've booked Cat 3 seats only a few rows from the back.

Sew - thanks. Already had the direct link, although I've clicked on your blog so many times already, I'm sure I'm keeping your hit rate up :rotfl:

Ggareth - Is you're looking at MGM, use the current offer with the $300 flyback cert as this offers the best rates than any of their other offers, even if you won't use the flyback certificate.

4 more days to go :D

Looks like Venetian and Palazzo could be in trouble whihc explains why they have been offering what looked liked "too good to be true deals" http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/nov/06/las-vegas-sands-may-miss-covenant-requirements/

i bet someone is wating in the wings to buy the casinos up .

LOL you have both ends of the levels there, its so hard isnt it why not a bit at both ? I fyuo are staying over a weekend do that part in Excalibur and the midweek in Mandalay bay this will give you the greatest savings

While I agree in general, would suggest a move that close wouldn't give as much variety as spending part of the time mid-strip instead of both south strip...personally I couldn't see up and moving 2 hotels down myself. :)

Only other thing I would say is if the weekend is at the start of your stay, moving from MB to Excalibur might be a bit of a shock...would be better in theory to stay at Excalibur and 'upgrade' to MB I think.

Note that we had no problems with Excalibur so my comments aren't based on any distaste for the place - but it's not on the same level as MB as sew said. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • guys, I need cheering up!

So I was in Vegas in August for a month, and it was the best few weeks of my life! But back in England it's so depressing, and it's unlikely I can afford to go again for a couple of years :( Stupid student debts!

    Any advice? :p

I stayed in the MGM sig and would not hesitate at booking there again. When people say no casino on site- it means you have to walk a couple of mins to get there- and even then it's on a moving walkway.

I would also note that when I was told the MGM was massive- I was dissapointed when I got there. Not as big as I imagined.
