Septemberused ICE back in the summer and it was very quick service,
Agreed
Used them several times this year for Euros, Slovakian Crowns, Czech Crowns and most satisfyingly US Dollars. Each time I have had good rates and excellent service with each consignment being delivered by insured Royal Mail Special Delivery - the next day.
One of my friends who visits the USA regularly to see their family insists on using M&S as they only send new Dollar notes. (She is a snob)
They were not amused when I produced a bundle of new notes at much better exchange rates!

Thanks.
I've got a nationwide debit card so hopefully it would only be the ATM charge itself I;d have to incur and I was hoping this would be less that what it would cost me to change money.
Steered clear of Travellers cheques for many years due to lack of places wanting to change them for free, so my assumptions of what you've said above is that I could take (dollers) travellers cheques with me and I wouldn't get charged for changing them at the casino?
Ta
I would stick with your nationwide card and add that the atm in Casino Royale was $1.50 earlier this year0 -

On collection for me and $20 -
SeptemberThanks for the tips on valet parking and the tip on triple folding stoneman;)
There's also a decent ATM in the Venetian mattyha. $2 from memory. I don't take travellers cheques anymore either. We have some cash before hand and the use our cards for purchases. I know they could get lost etc, but we prefer it to having cheques to cash.
Really looking forward to the football. We watch a bit of NFL, so I know the basics (OH might disagree). Thought the ticket price was good. We always plan a few things away from the strip so it's a good way to spend a few hours out. I've remembered to throw a jumper on the "to pack" pile as I bet it'll be cold....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
MayAn up to date list of free wifi hotspots posted here would be great......I'll contribute to it when Im over there in December with my new ipod touch

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
MarchOn collection for me and $2
Same for us though we have gotten away from using valet too much - not because of the cost, but because we're pretty familiar with a lot of the places we go and in some cases the self-park works out better for us...this last trip we used valet once at Excalibur and that was it...and then only because were were parking there but first going to NYNY so using self-park would have been quite a haul from Excalibur self-park.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

In addition to those noted, Ellis Island is normally $1.50 up to $500...though when we were there last week the maximum withdrawal was only $200...not sure if that was because the machine was low on cash or if it has changed full stop.
The cashpoint at the Chase at the Grand Canyon (near the post office) was free for what that's worth.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
