Not too much help, but when we did heli tour, it only took 6 passengers. This was with Maverick (who we thought were great btw). You may want to check whoever you go with that can take 8 if you want to go together.

I have booked a GC heli-tour because it sounds exciting for a first time, AND hopefully if we go again will do a plane/coach tour to south rim :D Also booked a limo/strip tour from airport. This is all in honour of DS 21st. Anymore celebration ideas accepted!!!

OH yes, only 5 days to go!

I was gonna try the $20 anyway, but happy to pay this upfront as only there for two nights.

As you legitimately got an email from them, try giving them a call or emailing them......they should change your booking no questions asked.......and once youve done it with a legit email, I'll then try to blag it.

Are you sure you wnat to do this ?

if you land in the Canyon you will be at Grand Canyon West which is not the Grand Canyon National Park and not half as good (I have been there) go to the SOuth Rim much much better.
    2. The helipcopter will be choppy in decemeber some friends took 6 choppers and at least one person in each threw up.
    3. If you dont book before you leave you may not get a space they do fill up

So if we don't go by helicopter what are the other options available? Don't really fancy going by bus and we all thought it would be good to go in a helicopter as none of us have been in one before.

I take it you can't go to the South Rim by helicopter then?

Theres a number of trips that fly you to South Rim by small aeroplane, ie to GC Airport, and a copter takes you from there into the canyon....not that much more expensve.

how do i check my online account all they gave me was a card to put into the slots to collect points, not had an email of them or anything

    thanks

On the card there is a website address - https://www.playersclub.com

Go there...click on the button that says 'already a players club member? click here to create your password' and follow the instructions...then once you're done, log onto your account.

I have the MGM players card with over 20,000 points on it and was told at Bellagio it wasnt enough to get me anything

So signed up for the Venetian Grazie Club card, and in space of a few months have had a comped ticket for Blue Man, $150 in slot credits, and bought several extra nights to extend my stay at Venetian for 2000 points per night

They also have bonus rewards for your first visit/sign up depending on how many slot points you gain on that trip...

I only play the 25c slots

Have you tried any of the Harrah's hotels and their club? For a slot player they are really generous we think. I personally don't rate the MGM club as (again) HET is better for slot players...but I did check our account earlier and we did have an offer (first one ever, we have less than 3,500 points with them) - has expired and was for Excalibur, but it's something I guess! :) I don't like all the mystery around their slot club - you never know what you're entitled to without asking - even the offers are vague (ours was Fall Room Special - well, thanks for that)...at least with HET you can log on and check reservations yourself, see how much you have in comp dollars just by putting your card in a machine, etc.

I'll be halfway through my trip by then, can I get it over there any earlier do you reckon?

Local bookstores will have it...the website will say what other places have it (some casino gift shops will)...or you can order it from the ACG website - but I really wouldn't count on getting it delivered on time - they always seem to run late.

I dont really play in many casinos apart from Bellagio, Mandalay Bay & Venetian so havent tried any other club cards.

I go to Vegas mainly for the concerts/shows. Got 2 Madonna concerts in November, and wanted to see Cher again but looks like she has cancelled for a couple of months as she is sick.

Having Vegas withdrawal symptoms at the moment I think.. havent been for a couple of months, tried New York and Dubai instead, and the better Virgin planes from Heathrow...plus the Heathrow Clubhouse which is great.

not looking forward to going back to the Gatwick route now...uggh

You may still be able to get the 2008 version in palace station gift shops or the office of the Las Vegas Advisor
