SeptemberI'm looking at a trip in Nov. I've only even been before in Sept. Has anyone been in Nov before, any tips please?
Doesn't seem to be many hotel offers for Nov, is that normal or am I just too early? (Checked conventions and nothing major in the last 2 weeks).Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
SeptemberBack off to Vegas on Sunday for 2 weeks staying in the Gold Coast with direct flights from Manchester - Las Vegas it came to £600 which thought was a good deal. Not too bothered about being off strip as we done that last year as well and with being a group of us going the hotel is only going to be used as a base and gives us extra money to gamble and spend with being a cheaper hotel.
Cannot wait to get back as went this time last year but seems years ago since I was their0 -
November/DecemberThanks for all the Cirque links.
I'll have to learn to read properly. ($50, 50% wishful thinking?)

Probably a bit too early for deals. The Harrahs hotels have some hot deals available for those weeks though (at Harrahs itself as low as $45/night). But the last Thursday is a bank holiday in the US (Thanksgiving) and a lot of people have both the Thursday and the Friday off work so that might impact the rates. Though Thanksgiving is a family-oriented holiday so a lot of folks won't travel that day. If you do go over Thanksgiving, be sure to make a reservation for dinner that night if you want to get into a specific restaurant without a really long wait.
We've been early and late November - we really like it that time of year but we're not sunworshippers and the temperature is great for us...might be cooler than others would find ideal especially in the evening (evening temps late in the month will be about freezing).
Also, if you do go over Thanksgiving, the sales on the Friday are ridiculous. We tried to go to Fry's electronics store and in my husband's words 'it looks like it's being looted!' It was insane. Impossible to park, queue was hundreds of people deep. Crazy. But you can get some great bargains if you get out early enough.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

i am off next week and will go here: http://www.in-n-out.com/
Yowza - we had always heard that the sandwiches at Carnegie were massive - but I didn't expect that.
As for In-n-Out - still trying to figure out a way to justify going there in October when the in-laws aren't burger people at all and the concept of a 'secret menu' might scare them off.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

We used that $50 off deal for LeReve and it was worth it we thought - only catch is that since it's through Ticketmaster the fees brought the price back up to about $100/ticket.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
