Finally booked US airways flying on the 7th Sept and return on the 18th staying at the Orleans. Flight out is a bit of a swine, Manchester to Philadelphia to Chicago to Vegas but coning back isn't too bad, Vegas to Phoenix to Phil. to Man. Could have gone cheaper from LGW but what the heck. Think I can take 2 items of luggage per person up to 23Kg each 46Kg each in total, not bothered about that going but would be very useful coming back.

    have you been before?
I love the Orleans, it is great value, but I wouldnt want to be out there for my whole Vegas trip especially if it was a first visit. I know they have a shuttle (I always have a car anyway) but that doesnt compare to being able to walk straight out on to the strip. It is only my opinion

I may give up with the pics, mine are on my space, when I go to properties to get the url, I then copy and paste into the adress bar but only get a red cross come up when posting.

hey all, heading off to vegas in the next month (16th sept and counting!!!) and just want to ask a few budding experienced sin cityers (even though thats not a word) on advice on -
What shows to see, and should they be booked before leaving?
We're planning to do the helicopter over the canyon, whats the best company for this and again should this be booked before leaving? prices?
And are there any must do's to be done while out there?
3 of us going, 2 first timers - all in twenties. Staying at luxor and flying with virgin atlantic if this information helps, staying 9 nights.

It may be that when you paste you still have the origional "http://" in the box that comes up. If you leave this in when you paste your url you will end up with it twice (you will have copied it from the myspace url) make sure you delete this part out of the box on the reply where it asks you to paste the url
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Our first five or six trips were mainly off strip. We didn't find it a problem, but I know what you mean. You get a different vibe walking straight on to the strip each day. Now we tend to do several different hotels to get the best deals. Off strip is more laid back generally speaking.
