Hi Becky,
A bit off room rate topic, BUT have you stayed there before? Reason for my question is Ive just got back and I SO enjoyed my visits to Bills - its great!
Hi Steff
Thanks ever so much for your post. No I haven't stayed their before and it'll be my first visit to Vegas too. Decided on Bills mainly because of the location and the rooms seemed pretty good (and newly renovated) too. So good to hear that a 'vegas addict' rates it as a decent place. Was going to ask people what they thought of it but sometimes reviews can make you worry or doubt your choice.
Am spending 10 nights in total in Vegas, 4 nights at the Stratosphere in a Premier Tower Room and the next 6 at Bills. Am staying at the Strat mainly for the substantially cheaper room rates and plan to do Fashion Show Mall, Grand Canyon and downtown whilst I'm staying away from centre strip.
Can't wait until October and am trying very hard to raise as much spending money as possible!

November/Decemberdid you manage to get a strip view room? I
We have stayed there three times and have always had a partial fountain view. Can't remember the room numbers, but when I find out I will post it for you.
To be honest, if you don't have a fountain view, it is the easiest hotel to get to see the fountains. Probably easier than staying in a non-fountain Bellagio room.0 -
There are some potential cheap flights from LHR to LAX using the japanese version at nwa at the moment.
For example goto, http://www.nwa.com/jp/en/home.shtml and click on multi city, the pop in LHR to LAX in the first and select 8 Oct as depart and then pop LAX to LHR in the second flight boxes and 16 Oct as return date.
The price returned is about £230.
Not sure if any other flights or times will bring up similar fares but you could also try.0 -

You have to be a resident of Japan to get those fares - on the main page it asks if you are - if you choose no, it sends you to the other national sites...even if you try to get around it, the credit card you pay with has to be lodged against an address in Japan.
A lot of airlines restrict ticket sales this way.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MarchSaw this posted at Open Vegas - photos of the screens at tix4tonight one day recently which show exactly what they had available and prices.

If you have trouble with clicking on the link try copying and pasting - it didn't work for me when I clicked, but copying and pasting did.

I have a quote of £480 for a Thmas Cook flight (5 of us) On the booking page, it asks if you have a promo code. I've checked on the Vocher code site and there is a link to Thomas Cook, but it just takes me to the TC website. when I fill the details in, it gives me the same price. Is there really any discount codes, or is it just a ruse to get you to book, hoping that you wont back out when you are so close to booking?
Could I also ask- If I booked (eg Luxor) for say $120pn on a refundable web price, and they offered non refundable, pay up front prices at $60pn closer to my departure date, could I transfer to this rate? If, so would it just be a case of ringing them with my booking details and asking for the new , special rate?:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0 -
Hi, guys,
leaving tomorrow!!! :j Just quick question: where can I get cheap internet access in LV?
Thanks.
PS: soooooooo stressed trying to recall all the interesting info everyone has shared here... though I am beginning to think I should just take it easy and do stuff as time allows (and the weather!). And leave the rest for "next" time!!0 -
