The unlimited day pass used to be $15, and the 3 day pass $40

They dropped the price of the day pass to $9, but didnt change the price of the 3 day

prices have changed again, my one day pass last weekend was $11
So thats still 3 x 1 day passes for $33 instead of 1 x 3 day pass for $40
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

There wasnt an option on the ticket machine to buy a $40 pass so they must have taken it off

Folks planning a trip to Vegas around the end of sept / start or october. First time and I have a couple of general questions.

Planning a 10 day trip. Is 10 days too long for vegas? Would i be better splitting 5 days in vegas and 5 somewhere else like LA/San fran? Also if it is a multi-trip will that make it a lot more expensive?

Also I take it that booking flights and hotel seperate is cheaper?

    Thanks, in advance!!

10 days in Vegas is not enough. That's just my opinion though. We tend to go for as long as we can manage.

Yes booking flights and hotels separately will always come out cheaper and booking direct with the hotel will give you the option of cancelling and re-booking if you get a better offer.

Be very careful on Promos from Bellagio most of the hotels give out many promotions that are valid for anyone, Bellagio do not you may occasionally see them on websites but the only official discounts for Bellagio are on their webiste- I was told this by the head of MGM Mirage internet marketing.
I don't think that's correct. I booked a promo for last November that I saw on Fat Wallet and it was honoured. I also booked another one for May which I cancelled when I got a deal at the MGM.

The construction at the City Center Project didn't affect our stay at all.

Brill tip re checking in on line day before - wouldn't have thought of that one  Our flight home isn't until 3'ish p.m, so would it be worth checking in the luggage earlier in the day and heading back to the strip? We are first timers, won't be getting a car as it'll be a busman's holiday for Hubs. It is worth it? Over to you.... :A

Each to their own, but personally 10 days is not long enough in Vegas.

If you want to split the trip you could do a road trip between all those places and yes book everything seperately. You will find all the tips how to do it on the first post of this thread

I wouldnt want to go to the airport twice in a day and in reality your flight isnt very late in the day, you will still need to be at airport early afternoon. Why not just get up check out and leave bags with bell desk, or get a late check out

I think that 10 days in vegas is too long, I would spend 2 days in Vegas Hire a car and drive to San Diego then across to Tucson (long drive) and return via Sedona and the Grand Canyon if there is any time left have the last 2 days in Vegas.
