I signed up for the mgm players card yesterday. What does this actually get me? And does it have an expiry date on it or can you use tha same card every time you go back to vegas over the years.

You keep using it (until you leave it in a machine or leave it at home-I've done both-they replace them instantly at all the casinos when you ask and show photo ID)

Thanks Duchy, what benefits do you get from the card, i cant work out from their site.

The only benefit from getting the card initially is the ability to use the member-only offers that are about.

After that, it's down to how much you play on the card as to what you get. There are a variety of options - you can earn free play for slots, comps to be used for rooms and food, etc.

Personally, I find the MGM system totally confusing and rather annoying as you never really know what you are entitled to. If you do get an offer in your online account you normally cannot tell what exactly it is and have to call and you don't know at any given time how much comp credit you have for food, etc.

One of the reason I prefer HET's club (Total Rewards). At any time I can see how much comp credit I have by putting my card in any slot machine or looking online, I can log onto the website and see what sort of rates I can get for booking hotels anytime I want, etc.

You can't sign up online - so at one of their casinos.

personally, we've found them to be quite generous even to relatively low level players, but they do treat slot players better than table players.

Paris, Bally's, Rio, Caesars, Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace and O'Sheas...I think that's it for Vegas at least - others all over the US.

i bet. call them up and play hard ball /sob story ..worst they can do is what they have already done . mention large group , 1st time visit , special occasion ect , and pile on the politeness and UK accent ....they love both .

this really is the first time this has happened on any offer posted here or the other sites in my memory.

don't be disheartened something will come along that will be a massive saving on a travel agent deal.
