Also whilst i am on rush..........we are flying with AA and cannot understand their web site to see if we have in seat videos consoles or not, does any body know?
It depends on where you are connecting and therefore what type of plane.
If you look at your reservation on AA's website it will say what plane you will be on (if you can't find it let us know what your departure and arrival airports are and someone can probably find out for you)...then you can get more info on their website or here:
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/American_Airlines/information.php
Select the type of plane you will be on and click on the 'video' icon to see what type of system they have.
We flew with them last month (to Chicago) and had seatback TV - it was an Airbus A300. It wasn't on-demand, but it was seatback.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November/DecemberI know that the AA flights from Stanstead to NY did not have seat back TV'sIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0

Has anyone on here been to any of the shooting ranges in Vegas ? I'm looking at going to this one: www.thegunstorelasvegas.com
Just wandered if anyone has been and whether it was any good. Already been to one in Poland but quite fancy a go on the AK47 and UZI 9mm.
Thanks in advance.0 -

I have been to the Gunstore, its OK not great you dont get to load the guns anymore, last time I was there i fired Glok21, 38 SPecial, 92F, Desert Eagle and MP5 think I spent round $100, there were three of us so we bought 3 clips for each gun and shared them. Its an indoor range about 25m its good fun, safe and cheapishIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -

Many thanks, will now have to convince the wife that it's worth going to !0 -

Yep-We were booked on that flight because it was the only flight we could get an award on-I was soooooooooooo happy when they cancelled it and rebooked us out of Heathrow-slightly less happy about the 5 hour wait at JFK but with lounge access how bad can it be ! (Actually we were hoping for a bump but I don't think it's going to happen looking at the loads)
Ferf any advice about the host who gave me the comp-she was very pleasant on the phone and responded well with a humourous reply to an email follow up-I was thinking a bar of Cadburys wouldn't hurt (seem to be travelling with half a shopful as we're meeting up with friends along the way anyway)

MayI too would suggest splitting the trip between 2 hotels. It's not much hassle to check out and check in again. We usually call for a late check out and get one for 12 noon at no extra charge. By the time we get to the second hotel it's usually around 12.30 and we've been lucky most times that we've been able to check in right away. Moving to another hotel feels like a different holiday.0

Remember you cannot depend on getting the hotel room until 3pm-Murphy's law diatates when you really don't want a wait and have plans for the day-that'll be the one that won't have late/early checkin and out !! Eating into holiday time-if that matters to you-may not be worth doing.
I like the idea but not the faff involved in repacking and unpacking-we are doing it this week but have a night at the Canyon between so needed to pack up anyway. If you've picked the right hotel you won't want to move anywayI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
