This is my first post here - the advice so far has been great!
We've not been to Vegas before and am planning to travel next April. Can someone recommend the best time to book flights - I don't want to book now if there's a chance of getting them cheaper later in the year. We're looking at around 10th April and flights at the moment are coming in at £525 pp.
Would prefer direct flights from London - does that mean Vrigin are our only option?
Thanks everyone!

We are looking to go again on the 6th april nxt year, I have checked the virgin flights to LA. nearly £600 just after release, I havent looked at M +M but that wont take £300 off which is what I want them for:T . I have never paid more than £320 for a flight so looks like we might not be going again. Like Trets says, that virgin direct flight to Vegas is just not worth going on again IMO it is just to uncomfortable (unless it was around £200). I would rather do a short connecting flight after a night or two in LA first, (only about £25)
Not sure it is easter making the difference in prices as we went on good friday this year, I think it is the cost of fuel and IMO I dont think they will be coming down by much any time soon.0 -
MarchAmerican Airlines sale - includes London to Las Vegas from £396 (to end June) then £436 for July and part August.

Also some Manchester flights.
Book by 3rd June.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I think this year Easter was so early that it didn't coincide with a lot of schools' half terms and that was some of the reason that Easter flights didn't cost as much as they might normally. I remember when we first booked we were amazed that Easter wasn't more expensive than the week before or the week after and originally though that MaxJet then Virgin screwed up their fare schedules.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

if you do book then get your seats booked PDQ as the only seats worth a dam ( the six rows of 2 on each window side at the back) get snapped up very fast, if you have the chance to bag them , don't delay ...bag them there and then.
We booked in Jan for Nov, and were only able to secure the rows of two on the way out.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

MarchIMHO, ignore the first row of two, as in the other five rows, youll be able to stretch your legs into the missing seat......not possible in the first of those rows.
We booked in Jan for Nov, and were only able to secure the rows of two on the way out.
I agree that the further back are a bit better - I would swear that the first row of 2 the seats are more narrow too...but we'll take any pair over a row of 3 with a stranger when we can.
We were gobsmacked to find 2 pairs on the way out for our flights in October which we just booked a few weeks ago as normally they're gone waaaay before then.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I agree - front row better than row of 3illegitimi non carborundum0

Just been checking my NWA flight to Las Vegas (Detroit change) from Heathrow - Airbus A330
Plenty of window seats available which are for two people, but also a few of the centre row seats of in aisle 41 & 42 available.
Which is the better seats on this flight?
Looks like all other flights we're booked on are standard sets of 3 seats (Airbus A319), and 757.0 -
