watch "The Deadliest Catch" on discovery and you will respect every last bite you take of an Alaskian King crab leg. Bellagio buffet even have them sliced in half for you, no need to use the plastic crab slicer
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

In addition to fatwallet, etc. maybe check Flamingo's hot deals if you don't see anything that works for you.

Looks like rates from $65 for your dates in a standard (deluxe) room and $85 for a renovated GO deluxe room.

There's a big(ish) convention in town part of your dates (10th to 13th) with 64,000 attendees, so that's probably why those dates are a bit more expensive than might be expected.

    Hi everyone

I'm going back to Vegas for the 3rd time at the beginning of December (around 5th/6th).

The last two times we have been we booked through expedia/lastminute.com, after finding this thread I have realised that this is probably not the cheapest way to book things. What I wanted to ask is, when would you advise me to start booking flights etc, I have seen before on here airlines doing promotions for cheaper flights and wondered when these normally surfaced?

    Cheers

With fuel prices rising I might consider looking around now and if I found a fare I was happy with booking now. That said, if the rise in prices starts putting people off buying airfare maybe we'll see even more last-minute specials with airlines trying to fill their planes. Also, whether the open skies treaty will end up having an impact on the number of flights to Vegas or not remains to be seen. I tend to think that the near future is a bit uncertain on flight prices really and whether what's happened in the past is an indication of what will happen in the future is questionable.

Oh dear, this is when I wasplanning to visit on my way to the Grand Canyon.

With 2 young kids (6 and 9) - shall I give it a miss as a bit half hearted about visiting at this time of the year anyway - got a view?

Think this is the right place to ask my question ...

Not planning to go for a long while yet, but something we've been longing to do for a while.

Has anyone taken a trip out to Las Vegas to watch the UFC. How much did it all cost you (flights, accomodation, tickets etc). Are there any places that sort it all out for you, for instance you can go to Florida with Disney tickets included in the price.

    Any advice welcome :)

    Anyone?

Believe it or not that's not a really big convention by Vegas standards (those are 100,000 attendees or more)...hotels do seem to be slightly more expensive during that period but not obnoxiously so.

We've never been when a large convention was in town so I can't really give any personal advice as to how things are and how they would be with 2 small children (which I have no experience with either. ;))...but if your tickets are already booked, I wouldn't worry too much about it...at least you'll know why hotels are a bit more expensive those dates than similar dates other weeks. :)

I think Trets had some thoughts toward the top of the page that might help.

    A google search yielded this:

    http://www.eventtravel.com/CMS/display_artist.aspx?artist_id=78

Packages aren't on sale now - but it says:
Sign up to our online newsletter to receive information regarding Official UFC® Ticket Packages for the forthcoming event in Las Vegas.

I do think that Trets' caution about weighing up package prices vs. DIY booking is a good one...especially for something like this which is a bit of a specialist thing - I could see prices being quite high...perhaps booking flights, hotel and fight tickets separately might be a better option for you.
