I'm going to Vegas at the end of June and going to get spliced :j not booked anywhere.....any recommendations don't want anything fancy, expensive or far out and a civil ceremony rather than anything religious. There is obviously the Little White Chapel just wondered if anyone else had anywhere to recommend. Also somewhere special but being a moneysaver not too expensive to eat after!
Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it :D

this is difficult to answer as it comes down to a personal choice at the end of the day. we got married at the Little white wedding chapel and while it was what we wanted , it's probably not to everyones taste. there are loads of chapels on Las Vegas Boulevard between The Stratosphere and Downtown but this area is not the most eye pleasing . most chapels are set up for bookings and walk ins .

we have seen a couple getting married on the fake St Martins Square in The Venetian , on the TI Pirate ship , and the people who were on the helicopter to grand Canyon after us were getting married in it over the Grand Canyon. if you can think it and can afford it , you can do it in Vegas

if you could source a copy of this book it may help you out greatly .

somewhere very special to eat , would be the restaurant in The Eiffel tower , but it is a tad expensive, but what a view you get for your money. unlike the Top of the World the food does not seem to cause arguments between people who have been .

    Hi
Flying from Heathrow to San Diego, 1 night in SD then onto LV. Looks like Excalibur at the moment. Back to SD for the airshow at Miramar (Top Gun base) for the final 2 nights. Got the Wife a ticket to see Manilow at the Hilton on the 1st Oct.
Gotta get to the Gun Store again though!
    Can hardly wait!
    :j

Hope your wife enjoys Barrys show at the Hilton. It is a very good show. :j

    Congratulations!

No personal experience but I love the idea of the drive-thru weddings.

I'm sure it doesn't suit many (and perhaps falls into the 'far out' category?), but I think I would have loved that had I known about it...our registry office wedding suited both of us just fine though. :)

I know some of the chapels do weblinks so friends and family back in the UK could watch - may be worth looking into.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We got married in the Drive Thru part of the Little White Wedding Chapel. Cost, $65 for licence, $40 for the Reverends gratuity and $40 for the service. Total $145, bargin!!!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
