My travel / Thomas cook
leaving
14/5/08 7 nights = £161
you tell me whats going on with the prices this week . is something happening 18th -25th week ???
When you go through the booking system the total price is £252.80 for 2. There seems to be a minus against the fuel supplement - be it in error or not I wish I had the time off so I could book it!!!
Now that is :eek:0 -
August isn't a bad time for deals as there are few conventions (US school holidays end in August) and it's too hot for a lot of people at that time of year so if you are a bit flexible with your dates (ie not stuck on just one or two weekend dates) you should pick up tickets on the day. Obviously no guarantees with the on the day places but personally I'd say your chances are good.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Since the 26th is a bank holiday in both countries...maybe that has something to do with it?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The $50 is Free Credit for slot play, I think.
This is the 'share with your friends' version of the summer promo sent to some players.

The country & western awards at the MGM is massive, the cost of our room for the Sunday night (when we arrive) is almost as much as the rest of the week put together. Luckily we booked really early and kept an eye on the deals that Trets posted, so I know we've got the best price.

Hi,
I'm off to Vegas in a few weeks (can't wait!).. I've been before and usually just transfer my cash via travelex (booking it online before collecting at the airport).
I'd like to use my debit card this time though, I think my card is one of the better to use abroad, I've got a HSBC Maestro card on a Plus account which means the only charge I pay is the 2.75% load rate.
My concern is though, the availability of cash machines that will accept my card in Vegas, I'm concerned about availability on the strip, and at the airport (as this will need to be the first visit as will have zero dollars with me).
Is Maestro widely accepted in the US?
I've just worked out that assuming a 2.75% loading fee, and an average of £1 per day in ATM charges, I should save about $50 using the debit card rather than just transfering currency using the travelex. If it's gonna be stressful finding the right cash machine for my card I'd rather just loose the $50.

... and

I just read on another forum that some ATM networks limit you to $200 per day withdrawal. Does anyone have experience of withdrawing larger amounts? I intend to spend approx £1500 - £2000 over 7 days so I'll probably be needing about $500 per day.
