except in a taxi...the accent then becomes a liability as some drivers assume you don't know any better and long haul you. :)

I'm torn on whether to try to upgrade at Paris next month...we're only there 3 nights and booked their standard room (luxury, I think it is)...part of me wants to try to upgrade but the other part kind of wants to see what we think of their standard rooms and whether we prefer them to what we know at Ballys...because we normally book a standard and hope for an upgrade we know the upgrade won't be guaranteed so it may be better to see what a standard room is like.

    Decisions, decisions!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I keep meaning to post this offer (but keep forgetting!)

We had already booked, a 'Tower Deluxe King Room' and with this offer, were able to switch to a 'Salone Suite Room' room for exactly the same price - only a saving of $20 a night but it all counts :)

Bellagio offers don't seem to come around that often either so here you go! :)

    Morning all,
Thanks for the post nvh, BUT DONT USE THIS OFFER!!!!
There is a much better one - $179 every night via www.vegashotelhunt.com.
This one is $179 mid week and then jumps to something like $249 ish for fri/sat/sun. The one via vegashotelhunt is $179 whatever night you choose and should save you some money (unless, of course, its just the dates that I have chosen that come out at that - but anyone wanting to stay at Bellagio - pls check this deal too!)

This post isnt meant to offed OP - its just meant to save more dosh for others - happy hotel hunting all!

5:20am and wide awake - thats not too bad for a second day. Just a quick post to say that the Wynn "free buffets" for new Red Card Members are still working. 25 pts needed for 1st one and a further 25 for the second one and with the $10 free play the 2 free buffets ended uo costing $3 using the video roulette and the 17/17/1 stake. (each spin resulted in 4pts on the card) - Now with the first day freebies over we only need something like a further 3000 for a room price reduction .......each right!!

?Went to a 51's game last night and it went to extra innings. However at the end of the 9th 3/4 of the 6000+ crowd just walked out not obthering to staff anknown amount of time to see who won. THey really are a strange nation at times.

4.5 hours until the shops open..

Ferf we stayed at the paris last year and booked a standard room, I asked for a comp upgrade with a fountain view. I got a fountain view which was superb, not sure if the room was any different from standard though (I doubt it was) but I was happy for my $20, She told me it should have been $X amount extra per night.
