The Department of Levelling Up was all mouth and no trousers, just a show to pretend the were doing something for the "red wall". Johnson is a has-been, yesterday's chip paper, and his bleatings are of no consequence. (For balance, the same applies to Blair who keeps sticking his nose in.)

AGREED ... The Department of Levelling Up WAS just another Boris  farce.
Consultation after consultaion, instead of getting on with job

    Just another Sunak failure

The new PM MUST activate the code of practice well before the BPA load of rubbish hits the street ..... it's not a law

So when the legals quote the BPA / IPC code of practice .... take it with a pinch of salt ... it's meaningless

First step is to put pressure on your local MP to ensure this issue is not "overlooked" in the post-election melee. eg  "Dear MP can you please ask the relevant minister for assurances that the Private Parking Code of Practice will be tabled by DLUHC for implementation before Easter 2025"  MP email addresses available online. Make a noise!!

Agreed ... it will all depend just how awake the new MP's are ?

No , depends on how determined we are to waken them up and point them at the problem

just watched an item on BBC news about the BPA Code due in Ocrober.Absolutely hopeless with no mention of the Government code due soon. It is clear that the BBC and media at large do little research.
When would be a good time to get new MPs to raise questions in the House of Commons ?
