It's very pricey for a 3.5 hr event and rates are not inclusive of VAT!Will take it out of most individuals budget to attend.0

In his reply to MP Sarah Gibson's written questions Alex Norris under-SoS MHCLG said:"On 9th June, I hosted a meeting with the two parking Trade Associations and motorist groups to hear their views on the Code of Practice."Now the Minister has heard their views first hand hopefully this means the "in due course" consultation can be finalised and released so the public can give their views.Motorists have had to wait over 14 years for a Govt to protect them from the unacceptable practices of the private parking industry.Forum regulars will probably have seen this 2011 bbc article and I've no doubt joined the RAC Foundation in "calling for an end to self-regulation, the government should regulate the industry"..."insist that anyone enforcing parking regulations sticks to a government code of practice."It's truly shocking these exact same requests are still having to be voiced in 2025!Wonder if Alex Norris will succeed where others have failed to silence these repetative calls.7

There is a slightly cheaper option - buying the outputs...not quite the same but hey
The supporting materials are available for purchase in either a hard copy format or in a PDF format. The cost is £95 plus VAT for PDF copies and £95 for hard copies. Please click this link for the order form, then complete and return the form to bookings@publicpolicyexchange.co.uk or fax it to 0845 606 1539.
PUBLIC POLICY EXCHANGE LIMITED is a private company - and is a little close to the wire in terms on no privacy policy on their website, not companies house information (which is mandated) and they've been close to compulsory strike off twice in the last few years...
It'll be interesting to see how good it is...tempting
Also it makes a big hoo-ha about their exceptional calibre speakers but then doesn't actually list who will be speaking at this...sigh3 -
