In my QH MAD I:

Set timer
Removed books from coffee table 
Polished coffee table 
Wiped coaster and books to be replaced on coffee table
One book placed on stairs to be saved for future grandbeast 🤞
Some books put back on the side table where they belong
Magazine placed in magazine rack
Books to be returned to P's sister put in a bag and stashed in kitchen
Emptied cs box
Books for cs shop put in a bag together
Misc items for cs shop put in a smaller box
Awkward box that was too wide and not deep enough, ripped up and recycled 
Two owl ornaments dusted and put on display 
Small empty Norfolk Lavender pot binned
Tablet dusted and put on shelf
Laptop battery dusted and put on shelf
Timer beeped 

Next in the pile that I working through will be a laptop to be put to one side. I have two lap tops and a tablet that are extinct but I daren't throw them put as they may have personal stuff on them. Any ideas?

I'm going to read a couple more chapters (and cool down a little - hopefully). Then, if P and S haven't arrived,  I'll set the timer for another QH MAD in LR.

@Valli we're with you on that - neither A nor like the heat. Low 20s is the max for us . It's cloudy at the moment so it's not too bad but the cloud seems to be thinning and I fear this afternoon will be bad when we're going to the Dermatologist. At least the journey will be ok as we can put the air con on in the car and I think his office will be air conditioned. We might come back to a very hot flat though.

Flying: minimal but I did wash A's breakfast things and take down a bag of recycling on the way to buying A's paper and post a couple of cards. One was to our elderly friend in Plymouth who is back in a nursing home for two weeks as he felt he didn't have the physical strength to carry on at home. They are hoping two weeks of physio in the home will allow him to return to his own home. I hope so but it sounds a tall order.

Hi lovelies

Popping in on my lunch break. Beautiful weather here today, the washing is drying in record time. Have had a lovely few days - went to the Royal Highland Show, had a day and night in Scarborough and saw the boy a bit. All good. Paid stuff is veeerrrryy busy but needs must - until my lottery numbers come up!

Sounds lovely ASB.

In my QH which turned into half an hour in LR -
wiped fingerprints off glass
got rid of cobwebs 
dusted fireplace
dusted windowsill

dusted shelving unit 
moved a few ornaments and photos around dusting them as I went

Then I started to read a new book, but had a quick snooze.  Must be the heat.

P & S came and we had a coffee and a chat.

Boiled the new kettle again and tipped the water away - I'm hoping three times is enough.

Saw P and S to the gate and pulled grass from the lavender border on my way back. 

Eaten lunch, and finished reading my book. It can go in the bag for P's sister.

Today.. I have much hate. 

Tesc0 delivery 6-8... Electrician.. 6-8... collect from dance class 7:45... and OH needs to go move a wardrobe at DD1's... obviously this leaves me with the hard stuff while OH floats about again..

Well my life sucks.. if anyone has a new life they would like to donate I will gladly accept.. my house electrics have just been condemned.. and it will cost thousands to fix. I am so done.. I am feeling more like moving out than ever.

Morning all.

Up early again to walk Poppet for half hour before it gets even warmer.  We're back now and I'm having first cuppa.  Back garden and greenhouse have been watered, bed is made and second wash load is in machine.

DH did do a tip run yesterday so the garden is now clear enough for me to have a good sort out with pots and stuff so that is my priority for this morning.  I have an exercise class later and I want to clean the car before my trip away tomorrow.
