Things not good tonight - had news about a relative - have a funeral in the New Year.
DS 29 today and have wished him Happy birthday. DD not at all well and SIL harbouring the lurgy so boys coming here tomorrow for the night. Have done potato and carrot for DGS3!

Relative not close to me but DH's aunt and only other surviving member of family on his Dad's side apart from his mum. She was 94, had both legs amputated and totally deaf. A blessing really.
There are more of you out there with problems larger than mine. Please take care.
By the way I hoovered tonight for the first time in 10 days! You will think me terrible! However, bathroom cleaned every other day and deep cleaned today!

At least she is not suffering any more, but even when people have had a good innings and have been suffering and even when it is expected, it can still be a shock and obviously is still very upsetting. But as you say it's probably a blessing.

You take care too GB and in my opinion hoovering every 10 days is way way too much10 weeks mmmmm thats about right in chez nels:o Your DHs aunt I am sure would agree that life is far too short to hoover regularly
