    Morning Everybody

Havent got a cooker yet but do have a plan and a microwave so I feel abit more relaxed.

The lady from the rescue place is due in 30 mins to check us out. Later on I need to pick my sis up from Manchester airport and then I need to do all the jobs that I didnt do yesterday. Had a bad night with DD last night, I think that she is trying to fight off a bug the lady wanted to see us all but I'm not going to wake her.

    Have a good day everyone

Well I am kinda looking forward and kinda dreading today. On New Years Eve I am attending a wedding (well a civil ceremony actually) and therefore need 2 new outfits. One for the ceremony in the morning and one for a "glam" evening do. As is my nature I have left it to last minute and was due to go yesterday - but I didnt have a car so that was a no no. Anyway I am now the proud driver of a burnt orange Proton courtesy car with the garage name printed all over (gorgeous eh:rotfl: ) so I am off to the Trafford Centre:eek:
Ok Ok i know it will be madness but tbh its now or never really.
Im dragging my best mate with me kicking and screaming so at least if I am suffering I have some company:D

So girls Im going in - wish me luck and if I survive this I will update outfit watch:D

    Have a lovely day

    Good morning everyone,

((HUGS)) to all those still feeling poorly, especially kyle and twink xxx

PP - have a lovely break away, hope you have a lovely time xx

Today, im taking DS to see Plymouth play football, and DD is going to a friends house, as its not really her thing. DS is really excited, and its nice to do something with just him. They are out tomorrow with their dad (i hate his visits, at least he doesnt make the effort very often, so we dont have to put up with him much). Normally he wouldnt have them when im on holiday, but because it Christmas and its the only time he asked for, im letting him have them for the day - well, he said he would be here about 12, so nice to think he is making an effort to get here nice and early to see them, as he hasnt seen them since September.

Im still sat here in my dressing gown, with wet hair (managed to make it into the shower nice and early this morning) so need to get moving, must ring my friend to see what time she would like DD round.

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

thinking about going to the sales today. Daughter has a lot of christmas money and is looking for some clothes, as always! She does need a winter coat so hoping to find a bargain.
must check out this £4000 thread. We always have a "where did it go" moment when we get our P60's in April. In next few years with university fees and a possible house move we should be looking to saving more.

Not sure what I'm up to today apart from the usual housework may start thinning the dec's out as I'm fed up with them and I was late putting them up this year
I might have a go at sorting the kitchen cupboards out and get them more organised depends how brave I feel
hope everyone has a good day

    Good Morning All

Hoping we are all well. Did not have time to post yesterday morning. My babysitter cancelled on me at the last minute, so spent a good hour before work trying to find someone to have the kids. Luckily I got it sorted. And for once, my ex fetched the kids on time, infact 1.5 hr earlier.

I think by the sounds of things, a lot of us intends to get organised with "money" this year, me included! I have a few small amount owing debts, and with any luck, should be paid off by May/June! Cant wait for the car boots to start up again. At least in our area, we can do 2 a week (weather and stuff for sale permitting of course) as well as ebay/HM card sales inbetween. My aim is for a trip to see my brother in Florida! (we will see)

Plans for today, OH & Kids will go into town, pay my rent and spend kids Xmas money with them in the sales. Go and purchase the family membership at the local leisure centre.

Take decs down, general tidy/clean through, iron fresh bedding and get that changed. And in between, start listing on ebay.

Then hopefully, I can have a chilling out day on sunday and get some more cards made!

    jannyannie - enjoy the panto!

    Right best make a start

  • Morning everyone

    Pen-Pin - have a great holiday
(((Hugs))) to those that need one

Was awoken this morning by the most spectacular thunder storm!!! Still looks a lot brighter now after all that!!! Going to try and declutter the kitchen today (if i dont get distracted by the wii!!!!). Popped to the shops earlier and got some milk and also managed to get some reduced pork chops.

I wanted to take all the decorations down but DH and the kids are refusing to let me do it. I have had enough of it all now and want to get going with a spring clean - guess it will all have to wait til after the 7th when everyone is back at work/school.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Liz xx
  • Good morning everyone! Not been on since Christmas Eve, so glad to hear that most of you had a good day, though there were some disasters

Kyle and Twink - hugs for you.

Pink - enjoy your chill day

The Small Penguins had a hand-held console each, so they're happy!

I'm sat in bed with Radio Player, a pot of tea, and some mince pies ;):p Christmas day was fab - DH cooked the turkey to moist perfection, and the HG sprouts were a huge hit, even with all the Small People :j We had Thai green turkey curry with noodles for tea last night, and that was yummy. I'm planning to chill today, then friends for supper. We're off to a party tomorrow evening, then New Year's eve party at ours.

Just seen that lots of people are taking down their decorations. We'll keep ours up until 12th night. Our tree and decorations haven't been up a week yet, so I still love them

Have a great day, Penny. x
