I need a Visa debit card for my 16 year old soon to use abroad. He already has a bank account (mastercard) but in this case needs VISA requirement. He will only need the account for a couple of months.. Will need no overdraft facilty and will be a deposit of £200 and that should be only transaction going in.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Revolut. Not a trustworthy company and certainly not for the only source of payment whilst abroad.
What is the requirement for a Visa and not Mastercard? All of mine have switched to Mastercard for debit now.
Maybe one of these https://www.ukbankaccounts.co.uk/category/basic-bank-account-with-visa-debit-card/2 -
Halifax's Express Cash account has a visa debt card.1

I remember I had a mastercard with them at one point and then they changed me to a Visa. I've had Visa's with them since. Think my disposable with revolut is mastercard though.Eitherway the flex one account from Nationwide listed on the MSE page can also give a visa debit if you choose it. That said taking advantage of the GoHenry cashback offer from MSE might be better if you're only going to use it for 2 months. Otherwise the Flex One account might be better if you think he might have use for one any time in the future as I believe it'll just convert as the user gets older to their other "adult" accounts which also give Visa debit cards.

Have to say, never had a problem with Revolut as a spending card either here or overseas.1 -

My teen has the Nationwide FlexOne account and it's quite good - no charges for currency transactions (purchases or cash withdrawals) abroad.1
