Cynergy - can someone remind me has anyone got email about rate cut for issue 80 currently 5.15% or is it just the other couple (68, 69?)

cahoot - anyone know max payment limit online per transaction and in aggregate per day? I recall that I did ask them when first opened account but they were v vague and couldn’t tell me a specific limit.

I dont think Cynergy has an Issue 80 yet, Current one is 77?
Maybe you mean Issue 70, which i think pays less than 5.15%, think it ,may be 5.06%
Thks must have got the issue number wrong but definitely paid 5.15% on launch. Opened last October. Will check the issue number.
That is, I think, issue 68 - paying 5.15% at the moment, and launched 5th October - see Top Easy Access acs Ranked: Top of The Pots - **No Chat** - Page 53 — MoneySavingExpert Forum

I am looking for an EA account that pays interest yearly rather than monthly. The best option I've found is Ulster bank loyalty saver 5.2%. Are there better options?

Not in terms of interest rate paid. You would also need to open a current account with them.

Regular saving accounts do pay higher rates, but are limited to smaller monthly deposits.

Yorkshire Building society have some accounts that might be suitable, their Rainy day saver pays 5% up to 10K, 3.9% above that.

The "no chat" thread by soulsaver is great, but is there a resource somewhere that gives a longer list of easy access accounts ordered by rate, rather than just the top 10 or so?

Ulster Loyalty Saver is the best EA with no maximum limit.  The only thing to bear in mind is you have to keep your balance at minimum £5k to receive 5.2% interest.  Also might be useful to know that the maximum daily withdrawal is £20k (needs to be set up manually because the default is much lower).

I had one email on 13th June and another on 18th June for different issues, they were both reduced to 5% (one from 5.15%).

Yes, I got an email about Issue 68 on the 18th - like several others, it had gone into my junk folder (seems to be something about their wording, or the pattern of their mailing lists).
