West Brom Four Access Saver (Issue 1) 4.81% £1 min (05/09)

    Hi SoulSaver
Your new account is now open and ready for you to make a deposit.

Do you still need to upload photo ID and a signature during opening or is that now not required ?
I had to upload ID and signature (new customer to WB), then got a prompt saying they'll get back to me in 2-3 business days once verification is complete  :'(
Yes as a new customer I had to upload both ID & Signature and was able to complete application, got an email message confirming application and that I'd hear within 3-5 days, but actually heard the following day that account was open.
This proved to be the same in my case. Now for the obligatory 24hr wait to access the account.
Anyone else having problems with the document upload page? Keeps freezing on me.

    Cheers
What size are the documents you are trying to upload? Perhaps too big? I had no issues with the upload myself

Sorted thanks. I think it had a hissy fit then when I was trying to re-apply it was a cookie problem. Tried on my other phone and had no problems.

    Cheers

On 27 September 2024, the underlying interest rate on your Online Easy Access Account issue 69 will be reducing from 3.90% AER/Gross to 3.70% AER/Gross.

For Online Easy Access Accounts where the fixed bonus for the first 12 month applies, your new rate, inclusive of the fixed bonus, will be 4.80% AER/Gross.

Very similar notice - On 26th September, underlying rate reducing from 3.85% to 3.65%, with bonus will be 4.80% AER/Gross.
  • Dudley, Newbury and Principality rates went down today, Charter tomorrow. Paragon on Monday.

All accounts I picked up from this thread.

Along with West Brom on Monday (though their 4 access saver is not included in these reductions).

Thanks.  latest issue 80 - is 4.80% too. So I'll fast track apply for that. 'NLA but payable' post edited.

    @soulsaver
Additionally for the NLA list, I was going through my spreadsheet and noticed I still have the Post Office Online Saver Issue 72, which currently pays 4.96% (includes 3.51% bonus)

Additionally the Post Office Online Saver Issues 69 and 71 currently pay 4.8% (includes 3.35% bonus)

Interesting to note from an earlier post that Cahoot is true instant EA. But does anyone know the Cahoot outgoing faster payment limit?

I remember querying this while back. They wouldn't divulge their limits for online banking and said it is set on an individual basis depending on the risk of the customer, however they do have a £100k limit for faster payments over the phone.
