Bankboy said:Noticed that no one is mentioning Trading 212 for EA account and more. They have just dropped their GBP rate to 5% from 5.2% on uninvested cash but also have a 1.5% cash back on debit card spending. As well as this the account is multi currency with better rates than Wise bank on USD and Euros. Great rates for converting currencies and then using the card abroad in the local currency. Their cash ISA also pays 5.2%. You don’t need to use the account to buy and sell shares but you can if you want. My best account at the minute.
Their cash ISA only pays 5%.
The cash deposits outside the cash ISA are not FSCS protected.

Might have to top this account up if this isn’t an error!
Update: “…sorry for the confusion here. There’s an error with how the Chip Instant Access account rate is displaying in your app. We expect to fix this error within the next hour. “5 -
Surely that can't be right? My app says the same, but the account on the website is advertised as 4.01%

How fortuitous that your first ever post enables you to supply such a comprehensive and ringing endorsement of Trading 212. They are indeed fortunate to have such a satisfied and complimentary customer.Bankboy said:Noticed that no one is mentioning Trading 212 for EA account and more. I actually do have a small ISA with them, but I can't quite work up that level of enthusiasm for their efforts.4 -

If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Chip app now says 4.01% AER for the instant access account. My balance £0.00 and likely to stay that way1
