does anyones "invite" option work on Spring? OH would like an account but although it appears you can add a code if you have one, you can't generate one to give.

Spring Savings App

Just for info to anyone who has Halifax current account as linked account and already gone on to Lloyds app.
I'm expecting my Halifax app to close down at some point. Yesterday when depositing through linked account and Halifax app opened up (as expected). Realised that I'd have to change things to Lloyds.
I tried through their chat option, and it just wasn't getting it, so sent a secure message (after hours) asking how to go about it, keeping same sort code and account number. Received 2 emails today, one informing me that my current account had changed, and the other to check my secure messages on Spring app. Staff had changed things for me and now have Lloyds app opening up, rather than Halifax.

Is this necessary? Doesn't the Halifax current account morph into a Lloyds CA with the same account number/sort code when Halifax goes bye-bye?

Wouldn't Spring's Open Banking supplier (Moneyhub) be responsible for directing you to the Lloyds app rather than the Halifax one (or the appropriate website if the apps are not available on your device)?

Anyone figured out a way to open a Spring account whilst we're outside the UK? VPN's not working, and presume it's requiring GPS enabled and in UK to allow signup. Annoying to wait until I'm back home :'(
