@soulsaver - as terms outlined, the Revolut 5% savings account is now NLA (web page still exists, but accounts have been from Moneyfacts).
also, a little housekeeping for the top 10 list - Cahoot @ 4.52% should be 1st rather than 2nd (Saga); Oxbury Easy Access Summer Account (Issue 1) is now 4.33% rather than 4.22% (still new customers only).

You believe whats on Trustpilot ? Its got to be the most trolled and untrustworthy review site out there.

Apologies for off-topic question, but as that's also my experience of Trustpilot, I wonder if anyone knows of a more reliable alternative (the need to be cautious with all/any online reviews notwithstanding).

It never occurred to me to look on Trustpilot or other places for reviews when choosing a financial product. Nearly all the accounts are ok, and most are much of a muchness. The main criteria for me is FSCS protection (which nearly all have), followed by interest rate and ease of managing (I am staying clear of account that can only be opened and managed in Branch - but these are now far and few between).
If you follow this forum, or ask questions, you see comments from real people, many with extensive experience of savings and other financial products.
As you say, this is really off topic, so if you want to discuss it further, perhaps start a separate thread about it.3 -

Thanks for all the replies. I prefer to do banking stuff on my desktop so that side of it doesn't bother me. It has never occurred to be that trustpilot might not be reliable, it's usually my go to when trying to suss out websites etc.

Maybe there's a comparison site for review providers ☺
Is there not a no-chat version of this thread? I've looked through several pages of threads but couldn't find one.
