    Monument Bank EA Boosted Rate increased to 4.51% (inc 0.74% fixed boost to 01/12/26)
    Available to new clients only. Min £25K for rate.
    I downloaded and registered on their app some time ago, but never opened an account (I was about to, but the rate dropped). It seems I'm not eligible as a "new client"...

    Your interest should be paid on the 6th.

    As expected, Bailey was the key vote. I think we can likely assume some pre-emptive EA rate cuts in the coming weeks unless the budget calls for a change in thinking.

    Why cuts if the rate has stayed the same?

    A rate cut in December is now more likely than not. Whilst some financial institutions will wait until the rate cut is confirmed before announcing a rate change (which usually has a notice period), some will pre-empt the BoE and announce a rate cut early so it takes place on or around the predicted rate cut.

    @soulsaver
    West Brom BS have launched Triple Access Saver at 4.48% (var)
    Online from £1
    https://www.westbrom.co.uk/savings/easy-access/triple-access-saver-issue-1

    "Account year" is to 30 April so you'll get three withdrawals in the 6 months to 30/4/26 then 3 withdrawals to maturity 31/1/27 maintaining the higher rate
    So when the entry on page 1 of the No Chat thread says "see trail" what is the trail we are looking for?  Is it @happybagger's post or something else?
