I responded to the person who interpreted the email wrong, rightly or wrongly people can interpret edge as a regular same as things such as NatWest and RBS Digital.enthusiasticsaver said:Dear all
I have received a complaint from posters about the off topic discussion about the Edge Saver on this RS saver thread. I have passed this forward to the forum team to decide whether to remove the last three pages of discussion to the Edge Saver thread as there is already one on the forum. I suggest any discussion of this moving forward be posted on the correct thread. I will not weigh in myself as to whether I consider the Edge to be a RS but needless to say it is not designated as such.
Perhaps we can now consider this discussion closed on this thread though please?
All 3 could be interpreted as Easy Access & Regular Saver.
All 3 pay monthly interest.
All 3 you can pay in whenever.
Standard Regular Savers you have to wait 1 year for any interest.
There are threads on Edge yes, I'm not sure why multiple people seem to have complained, not like someone started talking about mortgages or wearing a green shirt etc, Edge Saver is still savings regardless.
I don't consider this thread massively derailed etc, but agree we should move on for now.0 -

Do Harpenden have any history of decent regular saver accounts? Just wondering about getting set up with a login by opening this.Bridlington1 said:0 -
Big thank you to Leeds Building Society for taking the time to email to say they have a new account paying more than my current one

at 4.14% it doesn’t make @soulsaver top ten but good to see rates going up and with no restrictions on access to funds it appeals to me more than a single or double access account would0 -
